Greg and Kerry really know what they are talking about, and are excellent motivators and coaches. They are both StrongFirst certified, which is a very difficult thing to achieve. The atmosphere is very friendly and fun; all the students become friends, as there is a sort of banter that goes on during training. After 6 months of training I had a physical and my doctor knew immediately that something had changed just from the muscle mass in my back and shoulders. I had never been a gym person. I was first introduced to Victor Kettlebell via their youth MMA program. These classes are perfect for my middle schooler who needs to work off energy and practice discipline. He loves the variety and camaraderie of classes. After watching him for a session or two I figured, I should use my time wisely and take a kettlebell class conveniently scheduled at the same time. 14 months later, I have not looked back. I can not believe how much I love going to the gym at Victor Kettlebell & MMA. I look forward to seeing people and collaborating with Kerry and Greg to be the strongest person I want to be. Greg and Kerry are the real deal. What they do goes way beyond helping you lose weight or get fit. They have literally taught me to rethink the way I walk, sit, and move. Their kettlebell training has made my body far stronger and more injury-proof than I once was. And their tips on stretching exercises have helped relieve areas of pain and tightness that I had for years. Though I was a bit intimidated to walk into this gym at first, I very quickly realized that I would learn a ton from Kerry and Greg, the very professional and extremely knowledgeable and kind owners. They taught me how to use kettlebells to increase my strength and mobility, while giving me a great workout. The classes are tough but differentiated so they meet everyone’s needs/limitations. I just did the kettlebell classes not the MMA so can’t speak to those, but I would trust Greg to teach you safely and effectively. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
We work with each person where they are in their health journey using the kettlebell and bodyweight movements to achieve strength, endurance, and power.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Once you've acquired the skill for a certain exercise, don't be afraid to go heavy. But the most impactful component is nutrition.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to see the joy my students have when they gain the freedom of strength. Being able to move however you wish, get up and down from the floor, reach personal records and more is the most rewarding experience.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Serving others. I find great joy in sharing this freedom.
