Vet wellness ctr of New Haven Means confidence and trust in the people who take care of Tank, Both Marcia & I have grown children, so Tank is basically our baby. You just don't trust your baby to just anybody. I trust their findings, the warmth they give out. Tank likes going to vet he also, knows he will be well taken care of. I moved to New Haven in July and was immediately welcomed by the Wellness Center. They're so great. After seeing them for the first time I got the email from them saying they were glad we chose them and that they were here for Alfie. It was so cute and personalized; my vet back home never did that! They also sent a reminder email for his vaccine which might seem commonplace but again, my previous vet didn't do that and it really shows they care and are on top of things. No question feels too big or small when I'm there, and they always take great care of Alfie and look so happy to see him. So far I've always seen Magda first and she is a ray of sunshine, super polite and knowledgable! They all listen to concerns as far as medication, possible outcomes/reactions, and always leave room for questions. I really appreciate the advice they've given with my CareCredit card as well. 10/10 would recommend! More...

Very convenient for me being right downtown and Dr. McKay was extremely helpful and patient in explaining what was wrong with my very sick cat. While they are more expensive than other vets I've gone to in the past, the extra expensive is well worth it for the convenient location, fast appointment scheduling and care received. They also have online scheduling and did a follow up call a few days later to see how my cat was doing and if I had any questions. These are the best vets in the greater New Haven area. We have a 17 year old dog, and they have cared for him since he was a puppy. Recently, he developed an aggressive tumor that seemed infected. When I called, Dr. Morgan McKay answered the phone and said he'd squeeze us in that afternoon. When we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind a welcoming. Although I was seen quite quickly, while sitting in the waiting room, Oscar pooped right on a chair. Needless to say, I was mortified, but they came right out to clean it up, all the while telling me not to worry and assuring me that it was not a problem. Oscar needed surgery, which they scheduled around my crazy schedule, and they did an outstanding job (and while he was under, they cleaned his teeth for no extra charge). The surgery went well, the price was reasonable, and Oscar returned home that day. Dr. McKay called a few days later to see how Oscar was doing and to share the results of the biopsy, and Oscar has been a happy pup since. They are talented vets and the support staff are all kind, supportive, and accommodating. We are lucky to have them in our community! More...

Brought my lovely girl to multiple vets in the area- this is the only one we trust. Parking is street parking or there are some reserved spots in the garage next to the office. This office ALWAYS exceeds my expectations. We have a young pup with lots of health issues and have called multiple times with last minute emergencies- they always listen, squeeze us in, and help. We wouldn't take our cats anywhere else for care. Dr. Lisa is excellent, knowledgeable , and compassionate. Appointments are easy to schedule and their staff is friendly. They also have a great relationship with Central Hospital and we have experienced seamless care when we have encountered emergency or more serious health issues.
