Mike at Palette Films was an immense joy to work with! Planning our wedding was an absolute nightmare, 97% of what could possibly go wrong did, it was as far from a fun process as you could get, except for Palette Films, they were amazing! Choosing Palette Films was the best decision! We was extraordinarily friendly, extremely professional & I fell in love with his personality, everyone in the wedding party did! I worked in film/TV for years so I know what a good cameraman can do, & he's got IT. I looked at several videographers before finding Mike & he was the only one whose work didn't look life a home video, it looked like a legitimate actual MOVIE. He has talent & I cannot wait to get our wedding video back! His website is phenomenal, you get a copy of your contract there (which he changed & adapted to our needs) you can pay through there & get an instant receipt, then there is a questionnaire you fill out with really great questions giving him everything he could want or need to make sure he films everything that you want for your wedding as well as a way to let him know where everyone will be at what times, the schedule, working with other vendors, even down to choosing music if you like. Between when I hired him to the wedding day, he had moved to NYC & not only honored our agreement, but never asked me for a cent more for his flight to and from our wedding venue in upstate NY. He flew out just for us, it was amazing! He was delightful, charming, everyone loved him and in addition, he was not at all intrusive. He shot everything without shoving the camera in your face like some can do. He was there but in the background enough to have your day be authentic while at the same time being there when you needed him while having a smile on his face and a spring in his step. He made me fell at ease & even if I hadn't hired him, I still would have invited him as a guest to our wedding! If you have a chance to work with Mike, take it, it was a pleasure! More...

Mike of Palette Films met with us about 2 weeks before our wedding on our last minute attempt to find the perfect videographer. I thought it was really nice of him to first talk with us at a coffee shop so that he could get to know more about us and our big day to make the video special. The moment I saw one of his feature films online, I knew we had to book him. Mike's videos are very high quality, and he pays close attention to all the little details so you don't miss a thing when you watch your video months or years later. He even went to the trouble to incorporate songs from our wedding day into the video! Mike was very friendly and professional at the wedding as well. Not only did he come up with an idea for me and my husband to wear blindfolds when my husband backed out on the whole "first look" idea at the last minute, but he also dealt with problems very well. We, the bride and groom, had a guest walk up behind us while reciting our vows at the ceremony, yet Mike did a great job at hiding it. Mike of Palette Films agreed to film our wedding at the last minute as our previous videographer bailed on us and we were so glad that it worked out the way that it did. Right from when we first met with him he was courteous and professional and a pleasure to work with. He took the time to learn about us and what we wanted from him and he completely delivered. He was there for our entire day, capturing everything as it happened and he put together a beautiful film along with a highlight reel that we were able to put on FaceBook for friends and family who were unable to attend. Mike also had a amazing soundtrack to go with our film that really fit with our style and who we are. Unbelievable experience and end result. Mike was extremely professional and helpful when we first met. His pricing is EXTREMELY low when compared to the amazing quality and detail that went into the final product.

We were over-imprressed with Mike every step of the process. He is extremely prepared and attentive to EVERY detail. His service helped us capture and remember the night like nothing else (Not even the photography).

Our only regret was letting our Photographer have more control over everything and not letting Mike run the show. Our pictures were phenomenal but paled in comparison to the job Mike did and how enjoyable it has been to watch our videos over and over and over again.
