About

Hi! My name is Valerie. I have been working professionally with animals for about 19 years. I started off working at my local county animal shelter, where I learned how to clean kennels, showcase dogs for adoption, counsel potential adopters, train dogs, and learned how to administer medications and vaccines, draw blood, and other miscellaneous veterinary tasks.

Q&As

I love caring for pets and being around them. It brings me a lot of peace. I love being on the go and moving around. I don't enjoy spending the majority of my work day behind a desk or confined to the same room for hours upon hours. Being able to go outside and soak up some sun and getting fresh air in between or during assignments is amazing!

I am a very hard-worker, but didn't always feel like it was recognized or appreciated enough. I felt like it was better to direct all of my energy into building and growing my own business and doing something I love to do, which is care for pets!

I absolutely love what I do! I follow my client's directions to the "T" and I am very trustworthy and have years of experience in pet care. Caring for others is what I do best! I treat each pet like my own and how I would want a pet sitter to take care of my own.
