I have known Jen for more than twenty years. My two rescued greyhounds consider her their Auntie. I wouldn't have anyone else take care of our dogs, our house, mail, etc. She is so popular, one must book her way in advance. There is no way I would consider boarding my big furry pup, which makes leaving town for any reason almost impossible. And then, along comes Two Dogs Pettsitting to save the day. Jen Havens is the best! Her knowledge, experience and education in pet health and care is impressive, but it's her huge heart that impressed me the most. She is so kind and gentle. Two Dogs Petsitting has been a lifesaver. I have known Jen for many years. She is the one that convinced us we needed a pup in our lives and she was absolutely correct. That decision helped forge a lifelong friendship. She has been the most amazing petsitter for us. Our dog loves her and she treats him like her own. She's responsible, caring, knowledgeable...and not just with dogs. Our cat adores her too. She took such good care of our 35 year old cockatiel and was just as devastated as we were when we lost him. Whether its Jen or one of her associates, whenever we travel we know that our babies are in the best of care... in our home... where they are most comfortable. I want everyone to know that the negative reviewer doesn’t even know Jen. He’s mad because he was harassing her on a city Facebook page. He has also harassed the owner of the page. I, on the other hand, have used Two Dog Petsitting for years and known Jen even longer. She and her employees are the most trustworthy and reliable around. She runs a REAL business and is licensed and bonded. For some sniveling little jerk come to a public place and try to hurt her business is deplorable. I highly recommend Two Dogs Pet Sitting. Jen was able to help me out after my dog's surgery. I wasn't able to help her get outside because of a back injury.  We arranged for 2 daily visits to help my dog get outside to relieve herself. Thanks to Two Dogs we are able to travel with peace of mind knowing our pets are in great hands. We've relied on Jen and her team for several years; what sets them apart is their ability to care for many different types of animals- parrots, lizards, frogs, snakes, dogs, cats... We have relied on Jen for years. She has been so helpful in so many ways. Anytime we have ever needed her help she has been there for us and when we lost our dog she was amazing. She showed up and supported us through it. She truly loves animals and is a very sensitive and caring provider. Jen is beyond amazing. She has a heart of gold! We were traveling back late from out of town, and our pup was going to be stuff at the Petsmart Pethotel in a kennel for another night if we didn't make it there by 6pm. I was crying hysterically, and my husband got right on yelp and tracked Jennifer down to see if she could possibly pick him up and hold him for us until we got back in town. She was able to do that and take her to her friend that pet-sits, and she even sent me a pic of our baby when she picked him up! He even met a new friend! Her doggy Beans! And I think that fundraisers she handles are so wonderful and we even made a donation to the YMCA Metropolitan of Los Angeles. I cannot say enough good things about the care that Jen and Kim have provided for the various animals in my home. They are compassionate animal caretakers, understand that pet owners can be a bit passionate about their critters, and are always there for us. It wasn't until we found Two Dogs - through a referral from our vet - that we were able to go out of town and not spend all of our time fretting about the well-being of our animals. Now we can travel and know that our pets are getting the best care available. I especially appreciate that all of our animals - from the tortoise through the rabbits and to the cats - are in knowledgeable hands. And in the event of an emergency, Jen and Kim are always ready to get the animal to the proper vet, immediately.Two Dogs Petsitting is supremely reliable, very affordable, and a positively wonderful company. We started using Jen when my partner and I were heading back home for the holidays. We had a dog walker back in New England before moving out here to California, but found we didn't need one most weeks thanks to our respective work schedules. When the holidays came around, we realized we would be gone for 5 days and had no one to care for our pup. After a recommendation from our vet, we gave Jen a call and asked her if she'd be willing to dog sit for us. She agreed and we couldn't have been more happy. Jen was phenomenal. She kept in constant contact with us through text message and even sent pictures of our dog so we knew he was doing well. I needed a break from work and wanted to go to Vegas for a few days of relaxation and fun. I had a week and half to find a pet sitter but it was a little tricky because I am fairly new to the San Gabriel Valley and didn't know where to start looking. I found Two Dogs Petsitting and after reading all their good reviews on their website and on the fox la hotlist site, I called them to see if they still had availability. Within a day, I got a response and price quotes from Jen, the owner of the business. Prices are very reasonable and Jen and Steve are very friendly people. Our dog is picky when it comes to male strangers and Steve instantly became his friend. Jen and Steve were very accomodating, even with my last-minute change of plans. Because Steve did a good job, I came home to a calm dog that probably didn't even notice that I was gone. On my next trip (or if I get too busy that I can't walk the dog), I will definitely use their services again. I've been putting off writing this review only because I didn't want this pet sitting company to become too busy that I'd have to call months in advance. I know it's evil ... but I decided to take the risk and thank Jen and Steve for a job well done with this review. More...
