I was born in Trinidad, and raised in NYC where Trini food is readily available everywhere. After being here in DFW for the last 10 years, I've tried every Caribbean restaurant available, and trust me. .. NONE of them comes close and is as authentic as Trini Style Bake n Shark & Things!!! What’s your signature dish?
Bake 'n Shark, our golden brown bake filled with all our condiments, lettuce, tomatoes , cucumber, homemade special sauce, garlic sauce, tamarind sauce, pineapples, chadon beni (culantro) pepper sauce .
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
By using our fresh ingredients, a mix of herbs, and traditional seasonings.
What do you love most about your job?
Cooking, catering for our clients coming up with new ideas and also new recipes to keep a smile on our clients faces
What inspired you to start your own business?
Growing up in Trinidad & Tobago had it’s perks, especially when it came to Mom and Dad’s home cooking, so we decided to continue our family tradition of sharing our famous Bake n' Shark sandwiches.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because our deep fried bake so delicious some customers insist on ordering and eating the bake by itself.
It's made with flour a touch of brown sugar, salt and baking powder. Get it while hot if you are a plain bake kind of person.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Online ordering, Touchless menu, social distance lines. All employees wear face covering and gloves.
