Our family has gathered together for many large family gatherings. This was the first time we hired a chef to prepare our dinners and everyone was truly blown away. We were 18 adults and 3 children, with lots of special dietary needs and desires and Chef John and Wendy made everyone feel like they were in a 4 star restaurant. Eating dinners together in our rented ten bedroom house, as opposed to going out to a restaurant was a truly good decision, especially for the children but also for their parents and grandparents. Top Private Chef is not inexpensive, and will probably cost you more than a restaurant, but you get what you pay for, fine food served in a beautiful and gracious manner in the comfort of your home. Chef John and his assistant Wendy did a phenomenal job delivering an amazing dining experience for my parents 40th Wedding Anniversary. From our initial conversations via phone and email during the planning process, to menu selection, to executing the night of the big event; He was prompt, thorough, and no detail was overlooked. Very professional, superb cuisine and presentation, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We recently had the privilege of enjoying a meal prepared by Chef John. We had a party of seventeen that was celebrating members running in the Disney marathon that day. Having Chef John do all of the prep, serving and cleanup allowed everyone to relax and enjoy the evening. The Seafood paella was delicious, as well as the salad and dessert. Chef John's meal was OUTSTANDING! My family surprised me with a GORMET dinner prepared by Chef John for my "Special" birthday! Everything in the meal was tremendous! Chef John prepared the meal completely from scratch & cooked to order! The menu included scallops prepared perfectly...as my husband stated "Chef Gordon Ramsey from Hells Kitchen would have approved." The filets Chef John made were "melt in your mouth." I hired John to cook for my family of 22 while on vacation in Orlando. I can not say anything but he and his team are absolutely amazing. They are professional, punctual, friendly and extremely talented. They prepared some of the most amazing lamb chops i have ever had. As well as shrimp, steaks, cheese fondue, meatballs, chicken tenders (for the kids). They cleaned up everything very well and were catering to everyones needs and wants. My family and I would like to thank Chef John and Wendy for the amazing meal they made for us while vacationing in Florida! They catered to those in our party that have dietary restrictions. The meal was a delicious three course dinner they prepared for us in our hotel room at Bay Lake Towers in Disneyworld. The french onion soup, Caesar salad and filet mignon were out of this world. Without a doubt the best private dining experience available. Delicious, healthy food, thoughtful presentation, and plentiful portions. We had the privilege of enjoying John's delicious creations as part of a large group for an entire week. It has become an annual treat, and somehow he rarely repeats despite cooking 14 meals each year. The quality he achieves while cooking for more than 20 people, and sometimes being limited by local grocery availability, is truly amazing. I've been meaning to share this wonderful experience with the world but life got in the way. Chef John prepared the most wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner ever. The presentation was carefully and thoughtfully prepared. Our menu consisted of THE juciest, most tender and tasty organic Turkey, along side a beautifully flavored ham, with sides such as savory roasted Brussels Sprouts and the best Thanksgiving stuffing hands down! He handles his craft with care and the utmost profesionalismo! It takes a lot of confidence and trust, in my family, to hand over the reigns of one of our most favorite holiday meals, and to allow someone else to come make this the best meal of the year was by far a long shot for me. I hired Chef John to cook dinner for a part of 9 to celebrate my fiance and I's engagement. The dinner could not have been more perfect. We were welcomed home to an amazing appetizer spread. Chef John was very patient with our group as there were a few rounds of celebratory cocktails before we were ready for dinner. Once seated Chef John was the start of the show. Finding Chef John Procacci was a stroke of good luck (or genius) for our 50th anniversary family dinner in Reunion in June. From the initial contact, I found him easy to work with. He responded promptly and guided me through selecting the menu for our five-course dinner. He made suggestions but was very open to listening to my ideas and making necessary adjustments. On the day of the party, the food was prepared on site; an hour after his arrival, the house smelled fabulous. He was ready to serve the appetizers at the appointed time and each course followed efficiently but not hurried. My husband, who considers himself a crab cake aficionado, said his crab cakes were the best ever. Chef John described each course to our guests and then let us enjoy every bite. Each course was beautifully presented and delectable. He got a “10” on each course!!
