Tony photographed my surprise proposal and then the subsequent hour! I never get nice photos done, and so I was so happy to receive all the advice on how to stand, where to put my hands, how to hold my head, where to look. I find that stuff so necessary so I don't look bad! He came up with the spot on the fly because my fiancee's intended location was closed, so kudos Tony! Then he did a great job taking advantage of certain spots with good lighting and it just seemed like he really understood the craft :) I'm very happy with the experience as well as the preview photos he sent right away! When my fiancé and I wanted to have our engagement photos taken We knew Tony was definitely the right person for the Job.His style is really unique and versatile . I recently launched my business' Indiegogo Campaign and Tony helped me film my pitch. We did quite a few takes on the first go around, which I ended up not liking because of my scripted appearance. So we did another round of takes. Tony was so patient and professional throughout the whole process. He offered very creative suggestions and did an awesome job editing. I will definitely use him again for my future projects and recommend him to friends and family.

I love working with Tony! I should have written a review after our first shoot but it slipped my mind so I absolutely have to write one now! Last week I had Tony shoot my senior graduation photos and I absolutely adore ALL of them! He has really captured the art of photography with a personal touch. He makes you feel at ease during the session, he has a great eye and the ability to capture the absolute best version of yourself. The shots were very creative and original and best of all, they turned out so natural, no awkward poses or smiles!

Last month I did a family session with him along with my sister, bro-in law and nephew who just turned one and those photos turned out absolutely fantastic as well! Tony knew of a park in Walnut Creek and we all met up there to do the shoot. Those pictures were absolutely amazing and he gives you the link to the final pictures in no time. His prices are incredibly reasonable, the hardest decision you'll have to make will be which pictures you want to print! I am beyond grateful to have found Tony! It feels amazing to have found such a talented and nice man to document our family! He takes his time and doesn't rush through a shoot. My daughter and I felt so comfortable for our Mommy and Me shoot. His photos turned out way better than I could ever dream of and the locations including his in-home studio were absolutely stunning! He has such an artistic way of looking through the lens and he captured images and angles that I've never seen before. This is despite having paid for other photoshoots in the past. Tony really knocked it out of the park with our family shoot! I am so happy to have found an amazing family photographer for us. From the start I knew I'd like him- he was professional and friendly in his emails, responding quickly to any questions I had. The location he suggested was absolutely perfect for a combination of some portraits and playful shots. He was so fun to work with and has quite the eye for getting the perfect shot. He and his wife make an awesome team! The final photos turned out so much more amazing than anything we could have asked for (especially since it was nap time for my son, but I couldn't tell by the pictures)!! Having a baby has completely changed my perspective and given me a new appreciation for photography and the amazing skills some photographers have. Getting even a good iPhone picture can be difficult! That said, after being a little disappointed with my daughter's six-month photo shoot results, I went in search of a new photographer for her nine-month/family session. Luckily for us, we found Tony. He impressed me from the beginning with his responsiveness and the instant willingness to do an outside photo shoot in December. Tony has an amazing eye for detail and carefully explained how he wanted to set up the various shots. He has a way of making you feel at ease and like you're not posing. My husband enjoys photography as a hobby, and Tony was generous with his tips and tricks. The results were amazing! He was able to capture her little personality beautifully. The pictures really are pieces of art-his skill just shines through. His way of capturing the light and the colors is pretty incredible. Tony Froude shot our family photo's just recently and did a great job!  One of our 3 children is high functioning autistic and he handled him so well.  He allowed 2 hours but had completely finished in just one hour.  My autistic son liked him so much that he wanted and got a picture with Tony.  The photo's turned out better than any previous family photo's.  He is also more than reasonable with his prices.  I would highly recommend. If you are looking for a talented real estate photographer who will take dynamic photos to highlight your home's features while also staying true to the essence of the house you have to work with Tony! Tony just recently took photos of our house due to us putting it on the market and we were very impressed by the final pictures which capture the house well. He  used minimum Photoshop which we appreciated. He was a pleasure to work with and we appreciated him speaking to us about his approach for the photos. Even after we got the photos he was willing to add some shots and make an edit. This review is overdue, but now that my home has sold I have time to reflect on the people who helped me with the sale. I hired Tony from Froude Photography to do a video of my listing in Fremont. It was a home listed just under 2 Million. It was my first time doing a video where I was in it presenting the house. I was camera shy and very nervous. Tony made it very easy since he was so patient throughout the recording session. He did several retakes because I messed up so many times. We hired Tony as our wedding photographer for our April wedding.   He is a true professional and really goes above and beyond to make the process as easy as possible from the beginning. He is very responsive and super prompt in answering emails or  calls. I cannot say enough amazing things about Tony. He is so talented and definitely one of the best wedding photographers in the Bay Area! He has such an artistic eye and made our golf-course wedding venue look like it was out of a fairytale! On the day of, he was really organized and good about making sure things were running on schedule and kept a comfortable distance so we never felt like we had a camera in our faces all day!  He worked well with coordinating with the other vendors which allowed us to be able to slow down and just enjoy our day!  He is such a super fun and easy going person and will easily make you smile or laugh... and he will take that opportunity to catch those special little candid moments!  We were so surprised to see the final images and find those great photos we weren't expecting to see! From our very first contact with Tony about our newborn photoshoot my husband and I were so impressed by his professionalism.  He answered all our calls, emails and questions promptly throughout the whole process, from booking to receiving our final photos!  During our session we discovered how very warm and clearly passionate he is about what he does. We would even go so far as to call him the "baby whisperer". We were so impressed with how gentle and patient he was in handling our 14 day old newborn girl and his ability to swaddle and calm her so adeptly. We were so grateful to have the professional detailed handout on what to expect during the session and how to prepare. It just made it so much easier for us to know how the morning would go and what we could do to make it as pleasant of an experience for our baby and ourselves. On the morning of the shoot he was exactly on time. For us new parents trying to balance preparing with everything from nursing, eating breakfast, getting ready, and twelve other things, it was so appreciated that he was neither early nor late, the timing was just perfect. Tony is nothing if not prepared, he came with his bag of goodies and  brought a good variety of baskets, outfits, wraps, backdrops, and even professional lighting equipment for our shoot so that we would receive a variety of unique photos and poses. He even brought a custom travel themed  backdrop and setup after we had mentioned how much how much we love to travel! He was very flexible and patient during our shoot and even extended the session since we lost some extra time due to changing, feeding and general fussiness from our newborn. The final images we received are gorgeous! You can see a few of our favorites here, but there are so many beautiful ones... it's hard to pick faves! Tony's pricing, the shoot experience, the photographer,  the final images and overall experience is just what we were looking for! If you are looking for a talented, personable and truly professional photographer, Tony is your guy! I was looking for a photographer to help me with a good professional headshot to use for my business and website.   Tony was quick to respond and amazing to work with.  He was extremely patient throughout the entire process and gave not only his own advice and ideas but also listened to mine.  From the first time we met I could tell that he was passionate and cared about making the shoot as positive and successful as possible.  He was extremely professional and came to my home with a full lighting and backdrop setup. Tony is awesome!! I wanted to have some professional shots done for my senior year portraits.  Having your picture taken can be awkward but with Tony everything went great.  He was so funny and easy to talk to while still being very professional.  He was on time and had given me suggestions on how to get ready for the shoot and brought all the gear he needed to do the job.  The lighting was beautiful and I love the end result! We first started following Tony's beautiful nature and travel photos online and were thrilled when we found out he also did more personalized shoots. We used him to take photos of our family and our pets. He was extremely patient and accommodating and had a way of capturing the dynamics of us perfectly! This review is long overdue.  I had Tony come to my workshop during the fall of last year to do a photoshoot to highlight some of my reclaimed wood work for an upcoming advertising campaign.   Prior to the shoot, he was very prompt in responding to emails and calls and made sure to answer any and all questions I had in detail. On the day of the shoot to say he was well prepared is an understatement, he brought quite a collection of lighting equipment, lenses, stands and flashes to make sure he could do the job perfectly.  He is very detail oriented and worked closely with me to make sure to capture the images in the way that I wanted to help showcase my work.  He has quite an artistic eye and I was pleased to find that the final photos were so much better than anything I could have imagined or asked for.  The photos really highlight the high quality of my reclaimed wood furniture designs.  After I received the final images, the hardest part was deciding which ones to use-- they were all so good!  If you want someone who will work with you to really help you grow your business, Tony is your man! We needed a family photographer to shoot our son's first birthday party.  After spending time planning this elaborate event we wanted someone who could capture the whole event from start to finish including all the fine details and special touches.   After hearing some good things from friends and loving the photos in his website, we reached out to Tony.  He was quick to respond and his prices were very reasonable. He answered all of our questions and was totally open to our suggestions for the actual birthday party.  On the day of, he came fully prepared with lighting and backdrops.  The photo shoot itself was great, all of the guests commented on how friendly Tony was and how comfortable it was to have him around.  He was very patient with our one year old son who doesn't like large crowds. Tony captured the perfect shots despite our son's mood which alternated from shy to sleepy. Tony was ready anytime that rare smile on our baby boy's face came out.   Tony was truly dedicated to getting fantastic shots and super excited the entire time.  WE LOVE the final product and his turnaround time was more than QUICK - we have waited months before to get photos back from the photographer so this was very important.  We can't wait to use Froude Photography again for our next family shoot! Tony Froude has an eye for beauty. My fiance and I are beyond thrilled with our engagement photographs.Our engagement session in SF was super fun. We traveled around the city and discovered new sights we haven't visited yet, even though we live here. Tony knows lots of unique spots and vantage points that you often don't get with other SF engagement photographers. He is apparently a well-traveled adventurer and knows how to position himself or the subject to create a shot that is unforgettable. Tony is also funny and immediately puts you at ease. Engagement shoots can be daunting, especially for non-photogenic and shy people such as my fiance. He was able to get my fiance to open up and cooperate, and I think he actually enjoyed the process! It was all worth it once we received our photos (in a timely fashion). We were blown away!!! Our friends and family remarked, "jaw-dropping."I am very pleased with Tony's work.
