Jason took pictures of our 5 month old and they are amazing! First of all, we acquired the session at a charity event Jason had donated to which was incredibly sweet of him. He arranged his schedule on incredibly short notice for us as we called him last minute and were in from out of town. He was extremely patient and obviously extraordinarily talented to be able capture such incredible images in our short 30 minute session. He came to us which was very convenient especially with a baby and worked right within the small space in our home. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Knowing you want something other than a snap shot, having focus and creativity go a long way.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I will ask what they want to see in their photographs. It's very important to have that dialogue with the clients so they have a chance to convey what they are looking for as well as make sure I understand.
What do you love most about your job?
I am creating memories that will be in my clients homes, on their walls or in albums. I'm creating a positive emotion every time they look at the photos and those emotions will grow as the years go by. I think that is powerful and I enjoy the fact that my images are creating that for 100s of families.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being my own boss, doing what I love. I enjoy creating visually and the process of capturing how I see things and having my images make an emotional impact on someone else.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have an understanding that it's about the experience as well as the end product. I have many years of experience in Management, sales, working with people, meeting deadlines. I think my ability to manage a full day with multiple deadlines under tremendous stress to get every shot desired is tough for many photographers.
