DISCLAIMER: I've never actually been into this restaurant, we got food delivered from here through Grubhub. The order arrived within the allotted time frame and was still hot and fresh upon arrival. For a to go order, thy packaged the food correctly so it stayed in good quality in the transporting process. Unfortunately when we got the order the Thai Chicken Sweetie sandwiches were missing the pineapple, our main reason for ordering this particular sandwich. When I called I spoke with Felix regarding the issue and he informed me that the chef had run out of pineapple. He apologized to me and issued a refund for one of the sandwiches due to the mistake. I really appreciated how he handled the situation quickly and painlessly for me. And besides this mishap the food was very good and the fresh baked bread was phenomenal. Tipper's is a small and intimate place with gourmet and reasonably priced options.  The food is spectacular, as is the service.  Check them out for catering too.  I was there with my Luxurious Ladies of Leisure group yesterday and what awaited us (after closing) was a wonderful meal and a place to gather with friends in comfortable atmosphere. A charming and cozy little place with a fantastic patio for al fresco lunching but also pleasant tables inside for staying out of the scorching July heat. The food was delicious and the staff super courteous and accommodating! The house pasta salad was very light and fresh and the caprese sandwich I had was a perfect balance of fresh tomato, leafy basil and mozzarella served on a delightful 7-grain bread. Tucked in a little corner off the main street, Tipper's fed me breakfast for three days straight while staying at the Hyatt across the street. Their eclectic selection of refrigerated beverage items, along with tasty breakfast choices made grabbing morning fuel really easy each day. I was able to call in my orders once I got the swing of things and easily found parking on the streets in front. We found this little gem while searching on YELP.  We were only in Palm Springs for the night & breakfast as a rest stop before moving to Phoenix.  It's tucked away in a little shopping center but is well worth the  walk to find.  The food was delicious & our server was a very friendly eager to please fellow.  My Boo got the Southwest Breakfast Bowl which included Scrambled eggs, roasted peppers, soyrizo or Chorizo, your choice, as well as Pico de gallo & Jack cheese.  He was very satisfied.  I got the Chicken Breast, egg whites, spinach, & sliced avocado. ( I deleted the egg whites since I have egg sensitivities)  It was just what I wanted & was a hardy delish meal.  Our friend ordered the board special, Monte Cristo, fried boiled ham & cheese sandwich with a batter crust.  OMG!  It looked caloric.  He ate it all.  We recommend this great little nugget, with many options to choose from. A little off the main street, but cheap, great food. Food is 5 stars. Service is 3.Service was good, but a little slow as we were one of 2 tables. We had a gift certificate and although we put it on top if our credit card, the waitress charged the full amount to our card. Tipper's was a great spot for a relaxing lunch. We sat outside on the patio, which was thankfully covered so we didn't burn in the sun, and the location off the main street meant we didn't have to deal with cars driving by or much noise. Back when we went there, they were running an Octoberfest special, which was a turkey burger topped with pickles, sauerkraut, onions, and mustard on a pretzel bun. I had been planning to get a turkey burger anyway, so splurging for this more "decadent" version was a no-brainer. It was very good, but was kind of heavy so it led to a bit of food coma. In the future, I'd probably go for a lighter turkey burger or sandwich, but I was glad I tried the special. Egg sandwich's are delicious,  they have Tater Tots and the place is VERY clean. Plus the owner is one of the nicest people you'll meet.
