I’m David but you can call me “Cousin Dave.”
Why “Cousin Dave”?…Well I hang out with my cousins quite a bit and there is often more than one “David” in most places so to differentiate me from others, my cousins started referring to me as Cousin Dave and it stuck.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Why do you want these photos taken?
Where and how are you intending to use them?
What do you envision when you think about the end product?
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is shooting portraits and sharing compelling stories. Some of my favorite moments in the field include shooting for NGO’s such as World Central Kitchen and Homeboy Industries. Both of these clients, while different, allow me to share stories of the human experience that would otherwise go untold.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business because of the freedom and the ability to continue learning from others that being self employed in the photography space allows. I discovered photography while backpacking through South America and immediately fell in love with the craft. My love of photography has taken me all over the world including: Egypt, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, China, South Korea, Hungary, The Netherlands, Vietnam, Cambodia, Argentina, Uruguay, and Bolivia.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am vaccinated and boosted.
I will wear a mask if needed.
I spray down my equipment and studio with Lysol/disinfectants after each use.
Portraits
I will shoot portraits for you either in studio or outdoors. You can use these for LinkedIn, acting headshots, social media, dating apps, etc.
