I absolutely loved here. I was at gold’s gym but it’s too crowded. I only like the fitness part, the classes are really good and the trainers are amazing too. I thought The Zoo Health Club was more expensive than gold’s but they are the same, actually the zoo has better deals. 7/2019 Update: The gym has now been open for a year and a half, and it's still a great, clean gym . . . and at a great price!  Everything still looks as new as the first day I joined . . . they have also been keeping up with the maintenance of the place . . . everything still works like new . . . they have added at least a dozen new machines/weight stations, many for your core . . . and the guy they have cleaning the place (Ricardo) is second to none, and we all know how important keeping your gym clean is (unlike other local establishments I have visited/trialed) . . . the owners (Luisa and David) are hardworking and very hands-on, conscientious and pleasant . . . members are friendly and helpful . . . check the Zoo out . . . simply a great gym/you really can't go wrong! I’ve been at the zoo for about a year and half now, and before this gym, I always used to gym hop because I was not 100% satisfied with any other gym I belonged to, I was always looking for something more. ..until I found the zoo. They have all the equipment I need to get an amazing workout in, no matter what body part I’m training for that day. Plus the price of this gym per month is so affordable especially for what you get! And they have tanning for only $9.95 extra a month when the tanning salons charge over $100 a month! (And their beds are strong!!!!) The equipment is always clean, and always wiped down. The staff walks the floor every so often to make sure everything is clean and in order (which you don’t see in many other gyms) the staff re racks the weights if they are not done by the previous member, they clean and disinfect the equipment when needed, and the locker rooms are always clean, and fresh. Their is no odor in this gym like you smell in some of the other surrounding gyms, (it doesn’t smell like a gym sock) their is also a man who comes in every single day and cleans the floor, the equipment and the locker rooms. You’ll never find this gym dirty. They offer classes in the morning and the evening, which I find great and works around my and most people’s work schedule. They also have spin on demand (on a over head projector) which allows me to take a spin class any time I would like, even if it’s only me doing the class! The staff is very nice, they always greet you hello and wish you a good day when you’re leaving, and they’re very accommodating to my needs. They’re always willing to help or give advice if needed. The personal trainers are always on the floor working with people which gives me a little extra boost to work out as well. When I leave I usually stop by the front desk and get the protein shakes they sell, all different flavors with all different possibility’s of add ons, including glutamine, BCAAs, metabolism boosters, energy boosters etc. and the protein shakes taste great as well! They also have a vending machine because they do have a 24/7 package, which is the package I have, so if I forget my water bottle Or need something more to drink, I always have the option to purchase something at anytime., and they sell bang, pre workout, etc , you can get everything you need in one place, from pre workout to post workout and everything in between. So if you’re looking for an affordable, clean, and friendly, family owned gym. This is the place. I have been going to this gym for almost 6 months now. I joined this gym mainly for the yoga class on Sunday and half hour total body workout classes on Tuesday and Thursday which worked great with my work schedule. Unfortunately they canceled Tuesday and Thursday 8:15am classes due to low turnout. I hope they start those back or at least add Pilates or Yoga class on Saturday. Nice, clean gym. Plenty of cardio equipment, but sometimes it can get a little crowded around the weights area. Staff are friendly, most patrons have decent enough gym etiquette.

The Zoo is a fantastic gym.. there is a wide of free weights,(dumbbells & barbells) cable machines, and also hammer strength machines as well. The locker rooms are very clean and the staff is super friendly..A nice atmosphere to train in..No alarms like that purple place that shall remain nameless if you let out a little grunt if your going for that last rep! There are plenty of men and women of all ages..I've seen people as young as high school age up to people well into their 60s..All in all everyone is welcome no matter what their experience level is More...

Excellent gym & has a much more modern vibe than most gyms in the area. Very friendly & welcoming atmosphere, very clean, & the owners (managers? ) are on-site everyday & get to know you. The ZOO Health Club is also very family-friendly (they even have a "kids zone"!) and they also offer made-on-the spot protein shakes/ smoothies if you want to buy a pick-me-up on your way out. I used a 3 day pass but didn't end up becoming a member... the main reason because it's a little bit out of the way from where I live. It'd be interesting to know if they'd ever offer daily passes (i.e: maybe for 10$ a day?) for people who LOVE the gym but would only come once or twice a month. Switching gyms many times I've always looked for one that makes me the most comfortable. Joining the zoo with my boyfriend I love it here! Even signing up the manager of the Zoo had a great attitude helping me set up my account/payment. The equipment is awesome with everything to fit your needs and you can access the gym 24/7 with the swipe of your key after hours. The zoo has begun adding new equipment around the facility recently. Great gym.. Plenty of free weights, cable machines and Hammer Strength equipment too..Also plenty of cardio machines as well. . They also offer personal training and some other classes as well.. I recently toured the facility and fell in love with it immediately. The atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. They offered a VIP Pass to try out the gym but I immediately signed up. I loved what I saw, the equipment is brand new, the gym is spotless and smells great. It has been completely renovated and the bathrooms are remarkable. You can definitely see that the owners take pride in their establishment. They are either working together with their employees or they can be seen on the floor cleaning up. I was able to meet with them and they are a delight. Very knowledgeable and they genuinely care about their members. They take the time to talk with everyone and get to know them personally. I never experienced that at my previous gym, in fact the owner was never on site. I really recommend this facility to anyone looking to make a change, you absolutely won't regret it. More...

My complaints: and they can't do anything to change it, hate not seeing outdoors and working out in a basement and invest in your own internet so we don't have to connect through Modells. Loving this gym so far. Made the switch from Gold’s which is definitely a step up. Everything is brand new and clean (hopefully it stays that way) and the environment is comfortable and welcoming. I have only taken one class so far, which was subpar, but I have high hopes for trying some other classes especially once they add the early morning time slot. This is the nicest gym in the area. Just opened in mid-January and it has everything. Very new, clean, relaxing atmosphere. Brand new equipment, full array of cardio such as treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, stairs. Huge spinning room, and a great excercise class room. The locker room is really nice as well. I join this gym couple of weeks ago. Its is very clean, well organized and well equipped fitness center. I don't plan to use classes etc. Its just 10 mins from my home and has convenient timings. Its open for 24 hours but I plan to use only regular hours. Another good thing is its not that much crowded. I never had to wait for any Machine as there are plenty of equipments. I used to go to fitness center near my workplace in NY city, I had to wait for my turn in peak hours out there. Very nice staff as well. Lady at front desk was able to help me out to choose the right membership for me and she explained everything in very much detail, There was no hidden fee and very much affordable. I love this place so far and does not have any negative so far about this place. I hope , zoo will help me loose weight and improve my life. More...

I'm absolutely loving my new gym! The equipment is top notch, the classes and instructors are excellent, there's a separate, large room for spin, a spacious, comfortable locker room complete with infrared sauna, and an atmosphere that's so pleasant with its friendly staff and owners. I’ve never been a gym guy. Most gyms I’ve walked into, I have immediately walked out of because of their sterile very intimidating atmospheres. The Zoo was recommended to me by two good friends of mine and so I gave them a shot. I’ve always been a gym person, I been through different gyms but I cannot compare the Zoo to the other ones that I attended. As soon as I walked in the staff was really friendly and polite.
