The Brow House
I absolutely love this studio and have been a student since they’ve opened their first (of 3 locations). All locations are equally beautiful and all of the instructors have the same vibe but are unique in their own way. It feels like home with friendly smiling faces....and they always send me out the door with a beautiful message. I feel comfortable in class to do my own thing and am encouraged to make the hour practice my own. I get a great workout and I love that it’s hot but I don’t feel like I’m going to pass out hot..... like other studios. I can’t say enough.... you just gotta try for yourself More...

As a native to Sarasota, this is by far my most favorite studio. I've tried many studios in town in my 36 years and I've finally found "the one". I hear all the instructors are great. Although, I've only been to classes instructed Courtney, Ashley, and Meg. I can say that each of them have an amazing energy and passion for yoga and they bring it into each practice and it flows over into the class everytime. I always leave feeling balanced and grounded. I enjoy visiting places when I travel. This was my first hot/warm yoga practice and it was great! I found a parking spot across the street. I arrived about 10 min early so enough time to briefly meet the instructor. Registration is on-line so she immediately knew who I was and that I was not local. She asked if if had any issues and welcomed me. The class was very popular and was intermediate but The Instructor offered options for all levels. The size and lay-out of the room places each person at the wall which became another prop. There were mats available for use. I would recommend and hope to return! More...

Great location, great schedule, great teachers, and all for very competitive prices. +A good combination of technique and intensity for the Vinyasa flow classes. +6AM classes that are ideal for anyone looking to get a good start to their day. +Friendly and knowledgeable instructors, each with their own preferences and specialties but a sort of underlying core of similar things that gives you consistency no matter which class you attend. +A two week "all you can attend" pass that is exactly half the cost of a one month pass. It's the best deal I've ever gotten with the bonus of flexibility for travel schedules and the like. +They share bathroom and changing facilities with the neighboring gym, so you can change easily after class. -This isn't a negative but it is something to be aware of: the facilities are not air conditioned, so while it's not hot yoga by any means, be sure and bring a towel because it can get pretty warm even with the fans and the breeze. I love The Yoga Shack!! I have always felt welcome even though I am a beginner in yoga. The teachers stress that you should do only what feels comfortable for you and to not feel as if it is a competition, therefor I am relaxed and able to really enjoy my time.
