Scrumptious and classy! This restaurant is just right. Intimate and family-owned, the atmosphere is cozy and sophisticated, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the food is simply amazing. We had a great experience! There were six of us and we had salads, tapas and paella. The baby back ribs were (tapas menu) were enjoyable. Our family group came to the happy hour. 16:30-17:30. The beer was great. The tapas, small plates, were excellent.We ordered Spanish olives, tomato bread, two orders of bbq ribs, two orders anchovy’s, two orders artichoke hearts, meat balls, smoky chorizo, calamari steak and harissa fried potatoes, a half liter sangria and a beer. $85.00Now that’s a deal.

Loved the food, the ambience and the service. Food was fresh and delicious, my husband had seafood paella and I had the roasted chicken. This place is fabulous! Pretty dining room with live classical guitar. Our server, Emma, was the consummate professional and was on target with her suggestions. I started with the artichokes with aioli. Perfect! My husband started with croquettas that he felt rivaled any he had in Spain. My entre was a shrimp mildly spicy pasta that had plump, juicy shrimp. Asking for a modification, my husband adored his chorizo only paella much too full to finish our dinners, we could not pass up sharing a flan. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Best happy hour at Telluride! Great selection of tapas (half price) that were delicious, as was the red sangria ($22 for a litre) and beer (true blonde)! We always have a wonderful meal here while in beautiful Mountain Village/Telluride. The owners John and Janice are always making sure the meal is everything you expect. We had this place our first night staying at the resort and absolutely loved it! Got a bunch of different tapas which were decently sized to share between four of us all which were very good. All was fine until we were to pay our bill. We had been to this establishment for Valentines, sat at the bar - two of us - had a very nice exchange with the bartender/server, great food and talked with other people at the Bar. We used our gift cards to pay the bill and there was a balance on the card as explained by the server. Each cards value $100 - $43.0+ left on one. We went back to the restaurant with another couple and when it came time to pay the bill, we were informed our gift card value was Zero. We didn't make a scene. Didn't want to embarrass staff or make false actuations toward staff. There was NO effort to resolve the question when explained. Kind of like we were attempting to get something for nothing with a zero balance gift card. I must assume someone on staff took the card with value and gave us the second card that had been exhausted. Lesson learned - have them give and sign a receipt. Trust and customer value abused. I suspect staff used the card for their own benefit - or used it to pay for a friends bill in exchange for $$…. so sad. We'll be back, but will monitor our cards MUCH MORE carefully.... Maybe when Village Table reviews this, they will give us an adjustment some day. More...
