Just finished eating at the slanted porch with some colleagues. I rated this establishment at 5-stars for several reasons. To clarify, I am by no means anything special in terms of a professional culinary reviewer. I'm just a regular old schmuck that travels frequently and subsequently dines out regularly. Take this under consideration as you read on. The outside is more than pleasant, especially comparatively speaking with the rest of Fallon. The inside is warm and cozy and the wait staff was quick to greet and seat us. Our waitress was energetic and sweet and promptly took our drink orders. She returned bearing drinks and helped us through the menu as this was our first visit. The food came out in a timely manner to the precise specs of our orders and did not disappoint one bit. It was absolutely delicious. The bread was fresh and tasty, the vegetables were farm-fresh as the menu boasts, and the meat was plentiful and of ample quality to say the least. Our waitress, the beautiful young blonde (apologies...her name escapes me), checked back with us promptly to ensure our orders were correct and that we were satisfied and refilled drinks before they were actually empty. The restaurant filled up rapidly but we never felt neglected. Prices were absolutely fair. In short, if you are in this local area this is a stop you will definitely want to make for lunch!!!
