Lobster bisque and Thai Seafood Curry are SO good, uniquely exquisite. A must have when in Wainscott. Plus the market has a great selection of fresh fish and prepared items, the potstickers are yummy.

This is a Yogi Berra spot. "Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded." I love everything about The Seafood Shop. Don't tell anyone but their Lobster Bisque is amazing and their Lobster Rolls seriously generous.

Great little place where you can get fish and seafood to take home and prrpare or you can buy lunch or dinner to eat.All the seafood here is fresh. The prepared foods are all good as well. I had a crab cake sandwich and a Red Thai curry seafood soup for lunch one day. The crab cake had lots of crab in it. The seafood soup was outstanding!!! Went back the next day and got a New England clam chowder and a crab empanada. The empanada was really good, never had an empanada with crab in it but it worked really well. I have been visiting The Hamptons for 28 years. The Seafood Shop has the freshest fish - and the best New England clam chowder - in The Hamptons. They also have a nice assortment of fresh produce and other items to make lunch or dinner a snap. After their remodel a few years ago, the shop is much brighter and easier to navigate, and it is a pleasure to shop there. If you want fresh fish or seafood or produce - or even some local favorites like Tate's chocolate chip cookies - then The Seafood Shop is the place to shop. I have been driving past this place for years on my way to and from Montauk. I finally made a stop this past weekend to get some little neck clams for Memorial day weekend. While we were there we decided to grab a lobster roll and a fried flounder sandwich for lunch. The gentleman helping me was very friendly and recommended we get 5 dozen clams based on the amount of people we had. The lobster roll was delicious and fairly priced. It comes with a side of, rice, fries, or onion rings. The fried flounder was also very good. Most things are fairly priced but the lobster salad was priced at $70 per pound. I don't know what they're smoking charging that much. You can pick up 2 pound and a quarter lobster for about $10 a pound, have them steamed for you at the supermarket, add some mayo and celery and have your own lobster salad for about 1/4 of the price. Yes this is prepared for you but $70 is ridiculous. I could understand $20 a pound, Hamptons or not. No need to rape people. More...

This is literally the best place for seafood in the Hamptons. I know some people go to Stewart's, that's their problem. It's nowhere near as great as a seafood Shoppe.

Fresh seafood, knowledgeable staff, soups, fresh vegeys, sauces, salads and more. Have always found the seafood here to be quite good including the Chilean Sea bass, sword, salmon and salmon burgers, ceviche, soups etc.
