The Scarlet Bee visited our neighborhood of Ashley Woods today. They were very easy to work with for booking for out event. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma, Kofta Sliders and the Chickpea Sliders. The Chicken Shawarma was delicious. The chicken was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, served on a warm pita. Their toum sauce packs a punch! Creamy garlicky and lemony goodness. Our sliders were excellent, both the Kofta and the Chickpea versions were served on perfectly toasted brioche buns. The Kofta had a little extra kick from their Tahini sauce and was hearty and delicious. I loved the Chickpea Sliders as well, lightly crispy and a nice wholesome flavor. I LOVED this place and would happily eat their food every single day for the rest of my life. I am devastated they had to close earlier this year, but I hope they're able to get back to it, somehow!

AMAZING!!!I was looking for a new restaurant to try for dinner and I came across this place and reservations were to be booked thru Open Table. When I went to their website I read the following "We are open for dine in until April 28th. This will unfortunately be your last chance to come see us and share a meal for awhile. We hoped to be reopening under different circumstances, but these are the cards we've been dealt. Please come and support us, we look forward to seeing you all!"There was even a go fund me page explaining the situation and all due to Covid impacts. However, the reviews were good and I love good Mediterranean food. So, i made a reservation and headed there for dinner for what may be my last chance.Upon entering they had samples distanced appropriately and they were very welcoming. It is more of Tapas so I was able to try a few things.I started with Hummis which was topped with Paprika, Parsley, and Feta and served with warm pita. Next, I love Dolmathes (stuffed grape leaves) they are served warm on a lemon sauce (Avgolemono sauce). There were 4 and I will be ordering another dish to take home. Next, i ordered the Filet Mignon Kebabs. Delicious and Tender.Sad to see this place closing so stop be soon or I jear they become a food truck and still bring great food to Asheville. More...
