I had Chef Gabe from The Royal Catering Experience cater my mother’s surprise birthday party for 100 ppl on December 30th. It was a complete disaster! I was very disappointed in the service I received. Although, I was generous in my payment, Chef Gabe was extremely late for the event (arriving at 5:30pm) when we agreed that you he would arrive prior to 4pm (the scheduled start time of my mother’s surprise party) and enough time to warm and serve the food by 5pm. As a result, I had to rearrange my event program, many of my guests either left the event prior to eating or prepared a carryout meal, the food was undercooked and cold. Also, he did not prepare the menu that was included in the invoice. He prepared instant mashed potatoes instead of red skin homemade potatoes, the green/string beans were mushy, and the chicken was undercooked. Additionally, he did not serve (or leave) all of the food that was intended for my guests. In short, I paid generously for catering service and food that I did not receive. I coordinated this dinner for our group of 10. Chef Guy was very easy to work with, created a menu that was exactly what we were looking for and kept communication going leading up to the event. He was flexible when we wanted to move up our serving time. He and his sous chef took care of everything from prepping to cooking to serving to clean up. But the best part, the food. It was fantastic! Every mouthwatering bite was flavorful and left you wanting more! We were so stuffed we had to wait for dessert! Desserts were fabulous, especially the key lime cupcakes and peach cobbler! You cannot go wrong with Royale Catering, they will treat you like royalty! Highly recommend! Great value for the cost! Chef Chris went above and beyond. He served dinner for a bachelorette party in Savannah and it was the highlight of the trip. The girls still talk about the fried green tomatoes and the pork chop. He even brought us a speaker. Absolutely recommend!!!! More...

Ask what they’re preferred things to eat are. Finding different ways to elevate those items and dishes.
What do you love most about your job?
Cooking for me is a fun and uplifting hobby! It’s the way of life for me! A way I can connect with family and friends to fulfill that desire and make someone smile or make they’re day just by feeding them a great meal!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was tired of NOT being my own Boss! I wanted to expand my palette and try new and exciting things along with getting to meet new people!

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I already practice wearing a mask at the events that takes place. I’m vaccinated of course. And I tend to stay 6ft when possible. I also provide sanitation options and gloves for each of my events!
