During the process of selecting a studio to record my album at and after having called and interviewed multiple Nashville studios I met Gio. He returned my call promptly and took the time to listen to samples of my music so he was prepared for the call. I was impressed with his knowledge and interest in my project as well as really listening to understand my vision for the album. This was my first album and I didn't really know what to expect and what the true process of recording and album was. He answered all of question and also helped draw questions out of me I didn't know to ask. The one difference between Gio and the other studios I talked to was that he believes in the artists he works with and helps to create the vision for their project while guiding them along the way as the project evolves. You're not just another artist looking to cut an album or a revenue source for the studio. I felt as though I was treated and given the same care and attention as he would to one of his celebrity clients.Gio worked with me to lay out the whole creative and technical process of what goes into making an album. He hand picked the session musicians based on the genre of my music and my personality to make sure everything matched the sound we were going for with each individual song. He also had great patience to work with me during the sessions understanding this was first time in the studio.
