Got 4 potatoes. All were great! Onions and peppers sautéed fresh as we ordered! We lucked out and soups were 1.00 with a potato. Loaded baked potato soup was heart and delicious! Brandon and Lauren do an amazing job with their small business. They are super personable and nice. In regards to the food, their potatoes and soups are amazing! I am a huge fan of the Loaded Pulled Pork and the Zesty Cheeseburger but I haven't had a single one that I haven't liked! I am not a huge fan of soup but I enjoyed both the Chicken and rice and the Potato soup. I have loved this concept since the day I first saw them market their catering business online. I drove 45 minutes each way just to visit their establishment and get me a Tater! I will continue to add their shop as a detour any time I am even remotely close to them and I am telling everyone I know who is a connoisseur of spuds! More...

We won lunch and it was not only a special treat it was delicious too! The variety of potatoes and soups were amazing. Mandy loved the corn chowder, Brenda said it was the best baked potato she ever had, Amy loved the chili and Rita said it was the best lunch she has ever had.

Well, I cannot say enough about this wonderful team, Brandon and Lauren that are the magic behind the Potato Concept. Recently I hosted a Sunday Brunch in my home for 16 guests. I had no idea what I was getting myself into but I knew that I couldn't go it alone. Thankfully, I found the Potato Concept. Initially we talked fairly extensively how catering this brunch would work. I sensed immediately that I had made the right call. Brandon and Lauren were receptive to all my concerns and we communicated often in the three weeks leading up to the brunch. These guys came through with flying colors par excellence. My guests were amazed. The food was superb, the appetizers were spectacular. I must say, my brunch was a smashing success thanks to the hard work, attention to detail and genuine, top notch catering service these two professionals delivered. What a team!!! My thanks also to Sarah who worked alongside Brandon and Lauren , tirelessly providing a Class A bartending experience. What’s your signature dish?
Our signature vessel is the baked russet potato. We have worked hard to make what's typically a side menu option into a complete meal with what the potato is topped with. This concept, if you will, started with selling direct to customers at expo's, tasting rooms, fairs, festivals, and farmers markets and has crossed over into the private catering business. I guess you could ultimately say that our versatility is our signature dish. We can make almost anything happen for our customers and we're proud of that!
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
That's easy, we listen! We have over 40 loaded potato 'concepts' described on our menu and photographed on social media. We like to think there's a loaded potato out there for everybody and if we haven't created it yet, well that's where the foodies that gravitate to us come into play. We love suggestions and creating menus and new menu items wherever we go. And after all that you just want a burger and some wings, we can take care of that as well!
What do you love most about your job?
Getting creative and collaborating with our clients! We love incorporating new products, colors, textures and flavors into our recipes. We have found the boundaries to creativity and versatility of our product and service is limitless
What inspired you to start your own business?
The love of Food, art and family.
Working in the hospitality and restaurant industry for over 20 years, working with entertainment/ communications and music, and raising our children, all played large roles in feeding our thoughts and our ideas as to how to create and bring to fruition our own vision of food and art.
