THEY REALLY ARE POOL SPECIALISTS!I contacted The Pool Specialist to surface a new pool that was not completed by our pool contractor. The pebble surfacing came out beautifully. They also tied up some of the other loose ends by resetting some of the travertine tiles and installed venturi controls for the spa. The staff -- especially Zain, Mariel and Francisco have all responsive to any calls and emails and have spent that little bit of extra time to help and educate me on my new pool. We just resurfaced and added new tile to the pool at our short term rental at Windsor Hills Resort. Zain, Francisco and their crew were fantastic to deal with as was their office staff. The Pool Specialist team was professional from the onset and worked hard to complete the project within a condensed time frame dictated by our rental schedule. They provided a fair and accurate quote. They showed up when they said they would. Their crews were efficient and skilled. It was fantastic to deal with a pool company that really cares about quality and making sure that the customer is pleased with the outcome. They responded each and every time I called. It was surprising that they did not call for the 50% balance on the payment till after 3 weeks after the job was finished. 5 stars to the Pool Specialist! They are truly awesome to work with! They always respond to my calls, texts and emails promptly. They care about their customers and their quality of work. I had an older pool that they renovated for me and they did their best to allow me to keep as much of the "old" equipment as possible to save me money. They had great ideas about what I should do in regards to the renovations! I have gone back to them several times to purchase additional items for my pool and they still respond quickly and are there to assist with all of my questions! They never became frustrated as I "project managed" the renovation of my pool! They made sure I liked everything and was completely happy! And one of the best things? The Pool Specialist are top notch. I had my pool resurfaced with the help of Phil and Zain and I could not be more pleased at the results. There was a finishing issue with the original job and I was really worried about getting left with a mediocre surface job. Zain and Phil both stayed in direct communication with me and assured me that no matter what happened they would make sure I was happy at the end. After about a year of talking to different pool renovation companies and never feeling 100% positive it’s going to be a good experience, I finally met with Francisco one Saturday afternoon. A few days later I got a detailed quote to lay pavers over my existing pool deck, retile, and resurface my ~13,000g pool. A few days later we toured their showroom, decided on final materials (glass tile instead of ceramic and mini pebble finish) and colors, signed a contract. Francisco maintained communication with me as we awaited for the pavers to be delivered, and once they did (early October), the renovation started promptly. In 2 and a half weeks, they transformed our pool and deck into exactly what we envisioned and what they promised. They did such a good job, and completed the job so quickly, my pool service company asked for their information so that when their customers ask for recommendations, they can recommend Francisco, Zain, and the rest of the crew at The Pool Specialist. We recently had our whole pool area re-done and I highly recommend the team at the Pool Specialist. We've done lots of renovation projects, they are never fun, but this was the most painless experience we've had. Phil initially estimated the project, and he was always available and happy to answer my questions. Mariel in the office was very helpful each step of the way. Zain, the co-owner stopped by a number of times to check on the progress and was available to answer questions as well. All the guys who worked on the pool were very friendly and professional. As with every project there are hiccups, our only real issue had nothing to do with the Pool Specialist, but the company who delivered our pavers broke a water line when they drove over the lawn. Well, even though they didn't have to, a couple of the guys from The Pool Specialist stayed until 10pm to fix it, and were so friendly the whole time! We were very impressed. We hired the Pool Specialist early October for pool refinish. The process took less than a week and it was superbly done. Zain and his team of professionals were amazing in terms of execution, timeliness, communication and clean up . The crew arrived on time and were polite and efficient. There was a slight mix up initially with the product delivery, but the office admin had it all sorted out the next day.
