I am puzzled as to how or why this place rates so well. My wife and I took a joy ride out from our home in Falmouth to Osterville and decided to have breakfast at The Pineapple cafe based on ratings. First, it is a turn off to tip before service is provided but we tipped 18% anyway on our $44 breakfast for two. A muffin, two coffees and two veggie scrambles with fruit vs home fries and avocado for my wife vs toast. Coffee was average quality, toast came out with butter when I asked for dry, my wife’s breakfast was supposed to be identical to mine (no mushrooms) but came with mushrooms, jam is the same as Denny’s and service mediocre. If you don’t have any choice, it will work but I would suggest trying somewhere else so you are not disappointed like we were. More...
