I can't recommend Larry highly enough for all of your dog obedience needs. Larry's contact information came to us from another trainer in the area who we also enjoyed working with but was priced a little bit out of our budget.
Larry was accommodating with his schedule, and was able to meet us right outside of our apartment complex. I also asked that we all wear face coverings while working outside due to current conditions and he happily obliged without making it into a big deal.
Now, getting into the actual work with our dog. We have a 3.5 year old Australian Sheperd that we rescued about a month ago. He is house trained but has a few things we wanted to work on, like leash manners and more consistency on obedience commands. Our dog is a little shy around strangers, and at first our dog was a little scared of Larry but within minutes, Larry was able to call our dog and get him to come. By the end of the session they were besties.You can really tell that Larry loves working with dogs and has such an excellent demeanor (confident/leading/friendly) with them to win them over. To be honest, I thought our dog needed a little more work with training than it turned he actually did after I saw how obedient he was with Larry. In that sense, Larry helped us as owners feel more confident that we're already doing the right things with our training but also helped us think about how to elevate things to the next level. We spent a good chunk of the session even working on other tricks we could teach our dog.
We have already put some of Larry's tips to use to good results so far. Honestly, given some of the pricing schemes I have seen to work with other trainers in the area, Larry's services are a downright STEAL for what you will learn in your hour together. Thank you Larry!

I appreciate Larry and the time he spent with us. We have a Terrier mix that barks and reacts to other dogs. He was able to identify and understand the situation, ask us the right questions and offered slight changes to our routine, which I feel will make a huge difference.

My pups started off with learning to leash walk and some tricks. We decided to board the youngest one to better learn inside manners and transferred that training to the other when she came home.
He was also very helpful boarding her when we got both fixed to help keep calm through their recovery. And he was always quick to answer my texts with real-time pics when I wanted to check-in.

What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to help a pet family be happy, preventing surrendering of pups to already overcrowded shelters.
What inspired you to start your own business?
There are so many pet families that really just need a confidence boost or a little direction to help keep dog's from being given up to a shelter. I started volunteering at Operation Kindness, no-kill animal shelter in Carrollton. I got my Obedience Training certification & started working at OpK. At OpK I worked mainly with our large breeds, and closely with the behavior specialist with our more challenging buddies.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a compassion for all animals I work with. There's not a situation I'm afraid or nervous in - calm & confident is key! This isn't just a paycheck to me.

Obedience & or aggressive/reactivity single sessions $80/.
Obedience package: 1hr session/wk for 5wks @ $350 ($70/)
I've studied all styles of training & i'm not confined by a corporate checklist, so i can help you find what method your dog best responds to that you are comfortable performing

Having many methods i can help you decide which way is best for your particular situation.
No "only way" training is correct for every dog, every owner & every situation.
Dog training - board & train
Obedience starts at 2 wks for $1000.
Aggressive/ reactive issues start @ 3wks for $450/wk, typically better to go 5wk, but i will do whatever is best for your individual situation (finance is a factor for some).
