Chris remodelled my home and did an amazing job. The job was essentially a gut job and made the place look amazing. His experience and expertise was invaluable. Him and his team were great, trust worthy and realiable. Very hard to find those qualities in a contractor (Trust me, I've been through plenty of contractors). Also he did everything in a timely manner. Would I hire him again.... I already have! He's now renovating my mom's basement and I know him and his team will do a great job. More...

In 2017 my townhouse was remolded by Northstar Company. I signed the contract, left my house keys with Chris Marshall and left to snowbird for the winter in Florida.
Every day when I� m back in the house, I marvel on the professional job done. Three years later, I� m still getting positive feedback on the remodel.
Recently, we noticed the bathroom wall had black mold. I called Chris and he immediately responded to troubleshoot. On a rainy night, he stood on my handrail to look for the leak. We found the problem was caused by water leaking from my neighbor� s roof after cutting a hole in the upstairs ceiling. After his crew, fixed the neighbor� s roof problem and the termite contractor did his work, the ceiling was patched and painted along with the bathroom wall. It looks brand new. I� m writing this review to relay that this is a contractor that you can trust even after the contract is completed.

Our home was built in 1946 and needed a full basement renovation. We interviewed five companies and North Star's Chris Marshall was the only contractor that provided us with detailed answers to all our questions and resolutions to issues we did not even think of. No idea seemed too big or small. They have a hardworking and knowledgeable team to handle it all. Their experience really shows in their work and how well they coordinated with other agencies like the county for permits and inspection, gas and electrical companies.
