What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Capturing the perfect moment requires being tuned in to the dynamics of the subject. Some of my best photos are candid shots of people interacting with and reacting to each other.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What moments are you going to treasure most from this day? Are there any special interactions you don't want me to miss? What details do you want me to capture to remind you about this day, years down the road?
What do you love most about your job?
I love capturing the raw emotion of a groom when he sees his bride, the glow of a mother-to-be as she awaits her first child, and the joy of a mother whose family portraits froze that sweet moment in time. Mostly, I love honoring God by showcasing the beauty in His creation.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am a retired Air Force veteran, way too young to actually be seen as retired, and my final career in the military was in Public Affairs. I learned to take great photos, and I learned that I loved it! While my business is just getting running in 2024, I've already amassed quite a portfolio of compelling photo and video content! I love capturing the beauty that is God's work in creation.

My focus is on capturing the connections between my subjects, and I have won several awards as a military photojournalist under that mindset. Now as a veteran, I direct that focus into the most emotional and significant moments in my clients' lives.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes! Though I will need to take the photos in person, all of my clients will receive their own custom, password-protected gallery where we can discuss final edits and preferences for each photo. Online galleries are mobile-friendly and interactive with client proofing technology, allowing full download access (included) and can be freely shared with loved ones. Even better, these galleries provide convenient access to our connected printing service!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
In the case of illness, please notify us immediately (at least 24 hours prior to service) for a refund. Please note that deposit fees are non-refundable. Depending on the severity of the illness, I am also willing to make safe arrangements to take photos as planned if the client requests.
