I had the pleasure of meeting & doing business with Edna earlier this year. Our company needed assistance in making sure our HR policies were inline with current city, state & federal labor laws. Edna was knowledgeable, helpful & took the time to train several of our managers. Let be honest HR training & the reorganization of HR policies is a DRAG! What do you love most about your job?
Our clients! We've built great relationships with our clients. We serve as their trusted advisors and our clients primarily come from referrals. Our clients know that we've got their back. (Okay, I've also got to mention that we haven't met a challenge that we didn't love. Our consultants have a wide range of expertise and have at least 10 years of experience working as internal HR/management staff in a variety of industries. Sure, we could take that experience and provide you with a "cookie cutter" solution, but instead, we use that experience to provide you with specific recommendations that will work well for you and your team.)
What inspired you to start your own business?
Over ten years ago, I was inspired to start my own business because I saw that the need for qualified HR expertise was increasing. Ten years later, the number of relevant regulations has increased many times over, managing people has become more complex and HR challenges are frequently headline news. While many things have changed over the years and our HR practice has grown, my desire to provide quality HR expertise remains steadfast.
