Beyond grateful that I can walk into an eatery and order without stress. So many delicious VEGAN options! The prices are very fair, especially when compared to SB pricing. They even have vegan soft serve. The dillies and mighty bowl are my favorites, but I know I can keep returning for other amazing vegan options. Plus, the rooftop is an amazing place to eat. More...

I love this place because of its colorful, healthy, delicious vegan options! Kimchi bowl: my favorite dish because of the brussel sprouts, kimchi and coconut rice--subtly sweet and creamy! Curry bowl: also very good, not spicy--i like spicy so i wish it had a little more kick to it but my friends who don't like spice love this dish! Nomsters: the peanut sauce is YUM! And the rice paper raps are so fresh. Dillies: i had a bite off my friends plate and they were very good and i want to try them again. More...

I've had just about everything on the menu here from the lasagna to sandwich's and smoothies and I haven't fond anything to complain about on the food side the Abeja bowl is my favorite by far and I get it when I can't decide what to go with it's a very light bowl and usually makes for two meals for me. All of the food is pretty light yet somehow filling. You don't walk out of here feeling like crap as you might after a big greasy burger. I call ahead to place my order a lot of the time because there can be somewhat of a wait it's a very popular place that many locals love and recommend. If your vegan and visiting it's a must try they source some of there fruits right from the farmers markets that are held near to it so that's really cool to know your supporting local organic farmers. Lastly this place is a little on the pricier side but with fresh organic and clean food you usually have to pay just a little more. Over all this place is one of my favorite destinations for breakfast or lunch. Also look at the times they close pretty early most days. More...

Delicious, substantive vegan food. Lost one star because 1) the dumplings did not seem like nearly the same value as other items on the menu that cost the same amount and 2) not enough seating with shade. Despite these issues, would recommend, especially to vegetarian or vegan friends. More...

Their food is beyond delicious.  They use the freshest ingredients.  I absolutely love everything on their menu. They are very close to being 100% vegan.  The bowls are my favorite.  They are loaded with all kinds of healthy veggies, like kale, romaine, black bean, kimchee, corn, jackfruit, vegan chorizo, roasted beets, tofu, roasted Brussel sprouts, the list goes on and on... And their spring rolls with peanut sauce are the best I've ever had.  And their sandwiches are made with cornbread in a waffle iron, so adorable.  Oh and I LOVE their chickpea tuna wrapped in a collard leaf... I can't write anymore because I need to get in my car now and go eat there immediately.  This review has me salivating!! More...

This cafe is a sunny little haven in the middle of Santa Barbara. Most things are vegan And GF , but there is cheese and eggs on the menu. What I loved most about this place is how the gf and vegan substitutes are not the junky, processed kind that you get at many restaurants. We got a Mexican salad with vegan chorizo which was house made, it had lentils and tofu and was super flavorful. We also had the tuna wrap which was made of chickpeas and delightful, my only complaint about the restaurant was that this particular dish was supposed to be served on a collard but instead was served on romaine, as a food service establishment owner I think it's super important to point out to the customers when something Is out of stock and needs to be substituted. That being said it was busy, the staff and owner seemed overwhelmed and it was delicious!!!!! The cafe itself sits on the second floor of Antioch university. There is a HUGE terrace outside with plenty of couches and tables. It's super quiet and comfortable.  The menu is well thought out and creative and the staff is so friendly. We are only visiting until Sunday for a family wedding  but we will be back at least once more and will bring our Gf Family members. OH and the prices are amazing, in nyc we would have paid at least 1.5  times as much! More...

The iced chai latte w/ coconut milk (vegan) was good (coconut, almond and whole milk choices). Would love to see macadamia nut milk or oat milk!! This was a crazy good breakfast. Can't say really how fast the service was comparably because I was the only one there, so of course it was fast!  But it was delicious.  Only thing that was a little strange was the menu online.  I have seen V and VG used interchangeably for vegan or vegetarian from restaurant to restaurant, but most menus usually have a key on them indicating what their abbreviations mean.  Honey B's menu does not.  VG is vegetarian on there menu, and everything else not labeled VG is assumed vegan.  Most restaurants I've been to just V was vegetarian and VG was vegan.  I'm not deathly allergic to anything so not a big deal, but they could really get themselves in a lot of trouble being unclear.  Especially since there are plenty of imitation cheeses, egg products, etc in the world so even if read a menu item that says it has egg in it, you could easily assume it's a vegan egg substitute because it has what you think to be a vegan symbol next to it.  Or, some menus put G next to menu items to indicate they DO contain gluten.  HONEY B, you have amazing food, but please do yourselves a favor and add a little key/subtext at the bottom of your online menu indicating what you mean by VG and G.  You might think it's "obvious" but not everyone is hip to vegan, vegetarian, gluten free lingo and you could get yourself in big trouble that way. But the food was AMAZING! More...

Saw this on Yelp and of course looked at a lot of the dishes and was like gotta try this place when i get to Santa Barbara. ..Walked on over from our Hotel/Motel/Inn and this place is a bit hidden inside the campus of Antioch University there is a sign outside on the corner and I was like where is it and if you look in the front Lobby there is another sign that says Honey B with an arrow going upstairs!I would give this a 5 Star but some of the items they were out of when we ordered and they told us after we ordered...Kind of understandable in some aspects since I assume everything is fresh there....They are pretty eco friendly overall as a cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating available....Small and unassuming but great food overall!Ordered:Unbeetable - Roasted Beets, Cashew Goat Cheese, Strawberries, Sprouts, Arugula, Mint, Quiona, Avocado and Pistachio DressingUnfortunately they were out of Pistachio dressing so I took a Miso type replacement....(I don't particularly use dressing anyhow but wanted to try it).Soulbread - Cornbread/chive Waffle Sandwich with Jackfruit, Black Bean Hummus, Arugula, Red Onion and Avocado...Unfortunately they were out of Jackfruit so we replaced it with Chorizo...Both of these dishes were really good and the Soulbread was just too filling....Great job in making these home made Plant Based dishes both enjoyable and edible and just overall a great place to eat! They were also out of the dessert we wanted try, but luckily we didn't get it because we were too full!
