We re-homed our Aussie Doodle when he was ~7 months old, and after about 2 months we knew we needed help. He was a leash-puller, counter surfer, and jumped on every new person he would meet. Some friends of ours had worked with Tyler at The Doggy Dorm, and she came highly recommended. Our dog went through the month long training, and we could not be happier with the results. The e-collar that Tyler uses for training is super simple to use and has helped us tremendously since having him home. Tyler equips you with a manual and training session for the humans at the end of your dogs stay in order to learn how to reinforce all the behaviors your pup has learned in your own home. Absolutely can’t say enough good things about Tyler and The Doggy Dorm. I’ve never boarded one of my dogs before so I was new to the entire process. I was anxious but Tyler was helpful with any questions and concerns I had. Picked up my boy today and he was happy and healthy and tired from the activity he got. Our year old rescue pointer really needed training to help overcome anxious behaviors and the impulse to bolt. She came home a much more calm and confident dog that listens for instruction from us. Tyler and her crew cared for our pup as if she were theirs, then spent hours instructing us so we could continue to develop those positive behaviors. I cannot say enough good things about The Doggy Dorm and what it did for my boy, Charlie! Charlie was always an easy going and well tempered dog but didn’t always listen and lacked self-control around balls. After a month of training - he’s a new and improved version of the incredible dog he already was. I highly recommend and so does Charlie. This is the only in-home boarding that I trust with my dog. Oh, and I should make it known that my dog is “special needs.” When I lived in GA I would drive almost an hour to take my dog to be boarded here . I would get updates when asked and because Tyler is a trainer she understands dogs really well and I trust her judgment with how my dog acts etc. I now live almost 3 hours away and would still drive to Tyler if I needed to board my dog. My dog tends to not get along with certain types of dogs and is dominant depending on the other dogs. She also spends about a day refusing to socialize each time then she comes out of her shell. Tyler knows her personality and works with her. I used to have my own dog walking/pet sitting business in GA as well and I have only ever recommended Tyler to people for boarding (and training). It is so hard to trust anyone to care for our beloved pets these days, but you can trust The Doggy Dorm. More...

Cannot thank Tyler Peabody enough for being there for us today- we are on vacation for fall break and had a neighbor taking care our pups - One of our pups suddenly had very severe stress diarrhea and it was pretty bad (I will spare the details) - I felt really helpless not being able to get her to the vet and didn't know what to do to help her - Tyler didn't hesitate at all to come to my house, get my pup to the vet, and then take her home to her house to care for her until we get home. Who does that?!? I am sooooo incredibly grateful that Tyler did this for us - Tyler is amazing and The Doggy Dorm is truly the best!!! THANK YOU!!????❤️????Tyler has also trained both of our pups over the last few years and she is amazing! More...
