The Cave Prime Steak started in 2020 doing only small private dinners during COVID while everybody’s favorite restaurant was shut down. As time went by, we started catering for larger parties and weddings. It was truly a blessing for both Chef Juan and Chef Nicole to leave their full time jobs to pursue their passion of the culinary arts.

What’s your signature dish?
For private dinners, the Filet Mignon with Port Wine sauce has everyone fighting for extra sauce! For catered events, the stuffed mushrooms is definitely a hit.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I ask what their vision is for their special event. From there, we decide on what cuisine, service style, and aesthetics they want. Each menu is customized based on the event.
What do you love most about your job?
Cooking for others is the best..I put so much love into every dish I make. My favorite part of my job is seeing my clients’ reactions from their first bite!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My dad. He always made the best food in our family — everyone else didn’t cook. When he passed away in 2016, we survived on takeout for the longest time until I decided to get into cooking myself. I ended up applying for culinary school and left my full time job to start this company!
