Ok ordered take out for work. Some thought it was pricey. I felt it was fair but maybe a lil high because price will n wed didn't match what I was charged. I got a sampler. The sausage was tasty. My potato pancakes not as good as dads but would eat again. The perogi. Was good. I like the ones I get at a farmers market. One of the girls had a potato pancakes with stew. She didn't like it. But I actually loved this dish. I have never had pancakes with anything but sour cream or apple sauce. The stuff cabbage was ok. I will try again when the reopening after the move. More...

Tata's is a must stop. The restaurant is small, quaint, and very neat. The staff was extremely helpful and willing to explain the menu, polish tradition, and made several great suggestions.

Have been back many times since my first review. Never disappointed in the food I received. Was sad to learn sauerkraut pierogis are no longer available - now only a sauerkraut & mushroom combo. That realization forced me to try something new ... not a huge venture out of my comfort zone but tried the cheese & potato combo ... they were delicious. I guess I found a new favorite. Wow. Just wow. I haven't had Pierogi like this since my grandmother's. Honestly the best pierogi I've had from a restaurant ever. Light, thin dough. Perfect mix of kraut and mushrooms. Ughhh. I've had authentic pierogi before (compliments of my polish friend's mom) and they were epic. These are up to par with authentic, well prepared pierogi. I had the potato and cheese and potato and onion. Both had plenty of filling and had a nice smooth texture. They were delicious. Tatas is super clean and is quite charming for a smaller establishment. There is woody walls and simple decor. It definitely had a classic americana vibe to it. I will so go back...and very soon! I love Tata's Pierogis. I ordered (and recommend!) the #7 Polish Platter, as it has a little bit of everything. I also got the blintze plate for my wife, but ended up eating it myself on the drive home.

This place is amazing! What a nice change of pace to have gluten free authentic pierogi. I was so excited I even bought a couple packs! ! It's been years since I've been able to enjoy true polish food, and it's been a bummer since it's what I grew up on. I was nervous to try them at first, since gluten free can make or break a dish. But I was thoroughly impressed. It tasted just like my mothers that I had while growing up. Thank you so much for making all this delicious food. Great food, and service. Ordered lots of items and all of the Pierogi were warm and delicious. Hungarian pancake is an extra special item. It's a large potato pancake jam-packed with beef stew that falls apart on your mouth. Also ordered potato pancakes, which were also wonderfully cooked. Uszka are really good, sauerkraut pierogi are to soured, not tasty , ruskie doesn’t taste as ruskie pierogi, potatoes and onion are good, and the bacon,potato and cheddar cheese are really good. Driving by you would not know that this place existed. The shopping mall consists of many empty stores and Tata's is stuck in the middle. Yes, the place is small but the food is worth it. The place is known for Pierogi s but they offer other polish comfort food. I ordered the Golabaki Plate, which was good and my guest ordered the Polish Plate which was also very good. Really good food, five stars, once you get it. Low rating due to service, Food will be ready in a sloth like speed which you can't even comprehend. Doesn't even matter if you order ahead it will not be done. They say 15 mins, and then oh, another 10 mins. Had dinner at Tata's this evening on a recommendation of a coworker.It did not disappoint. Ordered the polish plate which gives you a sample of a couple of different foods. This place will be addicting! Family owned and run. Great menu of fresh pierogi's and other polish delights. Order in or take out. If you stay in, get a polish beer to add to your enjoyment.
