Taste Bud Bullies what a name?? I didn't understand until I tried and tasted the food. Yessssss I'm glad I did it all makes sense now as this food truck received a 10 out of 10 from my family and I as our taste buds were bullied by so much flavor. I had the shrimp poboy, with the sweet and spicy sauce on the fries... mind-blowing. Perhaps the best sandwich I've ever had, period. I don't know what to say, the shrimps were fried to perfection, the sauce was generous but not over the top, crisp lettuce and tomato take you home on that just-right-toasted roll. Just had Taste Bud Bullies for the first time outside of Halfpenny Brewing Company in Centennial and they were AWESOME! I had the shrimp basket with fries with hot sauce "Chicago Style" (sauce over everything). The shrimp was sweet and cooked perfectly, the batter light and crispy. The fries were fresh and perfect--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My husband had the shrimp po' boy and it was stuffed with goodness. He got the tangy sauce on the side which was sweet and yes, tangy. We were missing Mardi Gras this year, and this meal brought it home for us. Really hoping they come back to Halfpenny! More...

I book the food truck partners at Fiction Beer Company, and today was the first time we've had Taste Bud Bullies (TBB), and our customers' couldn't be happier. A few things you should know about the TBB. First, "Red" is a trained chef who previously was an executive chef before starting TBB. His skills and education are very apparent in his food. There are no shortcuts like frozen fries. The food is fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. The sauces vary from mild and savory to hot and savory (I'm a wuss so I didn't go hot), and the sauces do Cajun cooking proud.Second, the service is great. There's no buzzer to go and retrieve the food. They bring it into you which is a nice touch.Third, the owners are simply good people. They take pride in the food and the service.
