What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The ability to use light . Being able to tell a story through an image or convey a feeling or emotion. Getting to know the individuals personality is key in order to be able to let their individual personality to shine. This holds true even with objects. Capturing the details that make something unique is what makes it stand out and beautiful.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is their music preference , Style, Hobbies and activities. Getting to know a couple or person
What do you love most about your job?
I love to meet new people, hear their stories and a glimpse into their lives. I am playful and energetic and being a photographer allows me to do that at work. Being able to capture an image that speaks volumes to a person or family is a blessing. When I see clients have proudly hung up images on their walls or when I see someone get emotional when they see their images it makes me happy and proud to have played a part.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My children inspired me to start my business. I am able to work around their schedules most of the time and as a mom being able to watch my children grow. Seeing how they view the world around them has made me a better photographer. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am friendly and easy to work with. However, just as importantly I am a hard worker. I take great pride in what I do and I do not take for granted that I was chosen to capture a person's memories.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
The session itself is in person. However, I offer a mobile app for images and an online gallery for proofing and ordering.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have changed some in person consultations to phone calls or face time. I wear a mask and sanitize !
