During family therapy we explore relationships between all members of the family unit, family of origin, and the historical family. We address issues concerning how the current family system relates, maintains, and develops. Family therapy can help develop understanding of how/why behaviors, actions/reactions occur within relationships. It can help caregivers develop skills to help manage behaviors, actions/reactions within home and community; bring higher levels of communication between caregivers and children while maintaining and developing healthy boundaries. All members of the family unit are required to attend the first 4 therapy sessions to help the provider build rapport and framework to best help the family. Family therapy is for ages birth and up*.

Group therapy is for ages birth and up. Group therapy we explore as a group past/present experiences to help individuals develop communication skills and socialization skills. Group therapy allows clients to learn how to express their issues and accept criticism from others. Group therapy allows individuals to develop self-awareness by listening to others with similar issues. Groups will typically consist of 5-15 individuals or 5-10 parent/child pairs*.

Our Psychiatrist provides outpatient client centered psychiatric care including initial evaluations and consultations, medication management, and medication education.
