About

I support Christians to leave toxic relationships and overcome addictions. I know the shame and trauma that can stay with us for years, but that Christ can heal us. I do this work to give back what He has given me.

I have mentored, coached and counselled people for over 13 years, I continue to be mentored every single week of my life to realise my God-given potential.

Thank you very much Tim, really appreciate your gratitude. Bottom line is you had to make hard choices and decisions that I could only guide you to make, really valued seeing you take those steps despite the fears and despite the pain, God bless you, and all the glory to God for being able to do this work.

Sukh has really helped me through some excruciating painful situations over the past 2 years. Not only does he listen but he gives advice that I wouldn’t have seen before because of his care and ability to look at different angles of a situation. Sukh is caring but also candid where necessary. Sukh, thank you for all your help, advice, guidance, counselling and mentoring past present and future. I’m appreciative and thankful for your care and support, God bless you. More...

Working with Sukh was life changing for me. Albeit hard. He holds you accountable while holding your hand and your head up high. He’s the mentor you can trust because he’s walked a mile in your shoes and doesn’t allow your bs excuses that keep you stuck in the trauma of your past. His knowledgeable personal insight regarding gaslighting, narcissist abuse, and parental alienation is so valuable, it makes him compassionate and empathetic and at the same time rational and practical.

I loved utilizing Christian scripture and beliefs as the core of our sessions intertwined with philosophical wisdom from great writers, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, The Road Less Traveled and The Bible-the ultimate guidebook.

Accountability and discipline were tough pills to swallow at first but ultimately what I kept coming back for. Sukh’s gentle but guttural guidance in coaxing out the bad stuff in my life to make it not so bad was priceless. Where I would have normally responded with vehement rage at an injustice, I now calmly approach with faith, prayer and patience.

I’m forever grateful for my time I had with Sukh and not only did I learn life changing habits but found a forever friend.

I was raised in a Catholic family and country. To me, this meant that during my childhood up to my early adulthood, my faith was something I perceived as “I have to”: I went to church on Sunday mornings, and attended catechism, which led me to take sacraments. Between 2003 and 2012, I found myself in an abusive relationship: I was violated, mainly physically and emotionally. When the physical violence was extremely painful, I asked God to stop the abuser who did not stop. I thought that my prayers were not heard by God and I stopped coming to Him. I became an atheist and my life seemed to be a rollercoaster with moments of happiness alternating with profound sadness and depression. In 2019, I went close to suicide, but this time I looked for help and found my current mentor, Sukh Singh, who has extensive experience in helping people to come out from toxic relationships. Sukh drew a recovery plan for me, including elements of spiritual and emotional growth. This plan led me through losing weight, getting a better job and holding my family through difficult moments. Despite this, my spiritual growth became more practical last year after Sukh realized that I was holding pain inside myself for having been in the abusive relationship. Sukh guided me to come out from that prison and started building a new and profound relationship with God in Christianity. At the beginning, it was a painful decision for me as I felt that I had sinned too much in my life that I was afraid to reach God and ask for His forgiveness. The idea of forgiveness was not possible for me, both receiving forgiveness from God and forgiving my abuser. But God's plans were different from what I thought! And fortunately, I had the guidance of Sukh, who led me through studying the Parable of the merciless servant and also start the process of healing from my abusive relationship. During one of our sessions, I said out loud the name of my abuser and I felt liberated from that pain. Sukh, with his professionalism, led me through understanding my feelings and experiencing, for the first time in my life, the sense of freedom that I had received from God. This process, which started 4 years ago, is still ongoing (and it has become part of my lifelong learning so do not think will ever end!). I am immensely grateful to have this opportunity to be mentored by my brother in Christ Sukh Singh, who helps me to always seek the truth and take responsibility and the courage to face my life problems. The journey is not easy and you need to put the hard work into it, otherwise, it will not work for you. I do believe that Sukh will be able to understand your uniqueness as a human being and will help you to see the value inside yourself and the value you can create for others. But most importantly, as he is doing with me, Sukh will guide you to overcome your inner fears and realise your God-given potential. More...

I have been working with Sukh Singh for over 7 years now and within that time, through his mentorship, he has not only helped me through redundancy, a divorce, the sale of the property I was living in and moving away to a new place, he has also helped me with my transition into Christ and me becoming a Christian. Sukh has never sympathised with me, in fact, the opposite, he has held me accountable for my actions which in return helped me to grow, and through that growth, he has helped me to see the crucial and importance of prayer and connecting with my Lord and Saviour. Through his candour and love, I started to see more potential in me than I had ever seen before. He helped me unlock secrets that I had buried and emotions that I blocked out. We have had some very testing times, and there have been times I wanted to run away, but there was always that part of me that wanted and needed to hear him out and wanted to know more. It was through these hard times that Sukh helped me to understand how knocking and seeking Christ’s help and guidance would help, and it is through my seeking guidance through prayer, that I was able to see just how much Christ has been there, helping and protecting me even when I never knew it. Now I am in a place where I am able to help others like myself, something that I would never have thought possible and that has only been possible through Sukh’s leadership and my love of Christ. I have been working with Sukh for around three months. I find him very warm and compassionate but not scared to challenge when needed. He shows love and care and takes a genuine interest in what’s going on in my life. As a Christian it’s great to be working with someone who has the same goal as me, becoming as close to Christ like as they can get. Sukh is always honest and when he makes a mistake is not scared to take responsibility for them and admit when he’s in the wrong. I find it a pleasure working with him because he’s willing to challenge me to grow to that next level and enables me to think beyond my own assumptions. More...

Q&As

When someone I have been working with for a long time, after much difficulty, many failed attempts, much frustration, finally makes a breakthrough that means so much to them. It could be running a 10k race, making peace with their sister after years of hatred, getting a hard-earned job that they prepared every night for.

I have been mentored for the last 13 years of my life. Without being mentored, coached and counselled in every area of my life, I would not be alive today. I owe it to the people who have helped me to help others, most of all I owe it to my Lord Jesus Christ to help others learn from my mistakes and challenges.

I don't work with just anyone, I really only want to work with people who genuinely care about their life and they are willing to do the painful work of examining themselves and being challenged in key areas by me. It's really not for everyone, but if you feel it is then I will go all the way with you.

Yes, I work over zoom, whatsapp and over the phone.

The majority of my work is online so covid-19 is a non-issue for me.

Services

Coaching and mentoring from a Christian worldview, basing my guidance on the Word of God, basing hope in the coming Kingdom of God and basing true change in faith in Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit.

I have been a secular coach for many years and know that it ultimately does not provide true, lasting change without the faith in and work of Jesus Christ.

Guiding people to understand and step-by-step learn to heal from the underlying pain and trauma of addictions. Often this is rooted in unresolved childhood trauma. It can be tempting to just want to treat the addiction and get rid of it, whether it's pornography or alcohol or drugs, but patience, care and compassion are crucial.

I find family is the biggest area of conflict in many people's lives. Understanding our closest loved ones, resolving our differences and learning to create harmony with each other is critical. It's the hardest work there is and where I devote most of my attention in helping people build meaningful lives for Christ. Whether it's sibling conflict, dealing with abusive family members and / or repairing broken relationships.
