Where can you go for an ice cream, science lesson and a show all at once? Sub Zero! We were lucky enough to have our group there for a science lesson that ended with ice cream. They have the most amazing assortment of flavors, and you can choose a dairy, lactose free or DAIRY FREE base for any flavor!!! That was huge for my dairy-free son who is 6. He got to choose any flavor he wanted. Prices are good. The texture is great and they don't melt as fast. The shop is so clean and the staff and owners are knowledgeable and friendly. We recently held an Ice Cream Social at our company for just about 300 people. We brought in Sub Zero as a vendor and the experience from start to finish was excellent. They were easy to communicate with via email which is key for us due to the nature of our business. The employees were a huge fan of the Nitrogen Ice Cream and seeing it made. What was the most amazing was the fact that the ice cream was made and served to almost the entire group in about 45 minutes!!!! The flavors were awesome too. We at Sub Zero Ice Cream love making people smile and introducing them to the science of liquid nitrogen. It's so interesting and COOL!! At -321 degrees F, the liquid nitrogen has just enough time to freeze the cream in the bowl before your eyes in a blast of chilled fog and then it evaporates into the atmosphere from where it came creating a very smooth, creamy ice cream! Wow!
What inspired you to start your own business?
This is a franchise which was featured on ABC's Shark Tank show! We were so amazed and impressed at this patented process, we just had to bring it to New England!
