I’m not from Texas do foundation is the last thing I know. My house had a crack going up the side so I contacted structured foundation. Structured Foundation installed 24 piers on our home 18 months before we purchased it. During the process of buying, we received copies of the before and after engineering reports that showed exactly where everything was placed and exactly how much they lifted each area recorded on the final report. We are so happy we used Structured Foundation Repairs for our foundation work. They arrived on time and made sure we understood everything they were going to do. Everyone from Structured was very professional. They installed 13 piers and did an excellent job replanting bushes, patching patio concrete, and cleaning up. The crew foreman took us around the house and made sure we were satisfied with the job, where they put extra dirt, and the cleanup before they left. I purchased a new home and only within a few months found out that I needed foundation work. I had hired Independent Foundation Engineers and they gave me three recommendations. Structured Foundation Repairs (S.F.) was at the top of the list. I obtained three quotes and S.F. was slightly higher than the competition. However, the sales man Billy T**** was the only gentleman to go in the crawl space and actually examine it. He found legitimate work that needed to be done with joist replacement and sill plate. The competitors never went under my home. Mr. T**** was very professional, to the point, and a no bull kind of man. I asked both Mr. T**** and the competitor why I should hire them. The competitor spent most of his time bad mouthing S.F. and S.F. simply told me what they can do for me, opposed to speaking poorly about the competition. On construction day, the crew arrived early…big points for that! Mr. Julio C****** was the Crew Chief. He spent adequate time explaining the process of what was going on when adding the five steel pressed piers to my home. We found out later on when they went to re-shim my home that the estimate was not for the whole home, but rather a portion. I insisted on paying the extra $720 to reshim the whole home; however, Mr. Jefferie E****** the Sales Manager called me to inform me that wasn’t how they do business. They waved the fee and stuck to what was best for my home, my wallet, and wouldn’t charge me for their mistake. I am one to spend the time to find a great company that isn’t the cheapest, but will provide the best customer service, honesty, professionalism, the best product, and bang for my buck. Structured Foundation has exceeded my expectations by going above and beyond. They even cleaned out the leftover plumber’s pipes and other debris in my crawl space…that is not their job, but is another way that S.F. has went above and beyond for me. If you are on the fence about which company to choose, I strongly recommend Structured Foundation. The experience was incredible and the customer service was 5 stars from the sales man to each of the men who dug the holes. The owner Mr. Tom K*** graduated from Texas A&M in 1983. Mr. K*** definitely lives by the Aggie Honor Code: “An Aggie does not lie, cheat or steal or tolerate those who do.” I wish more businesses ran like Structured Foundation Repair. Structured Foundation did an excellent job on my foundation. They installed 13 pilings to my home. The Analyst, Billy, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very easy to work with and even reached out to our Contractor. The communication was very easy. When the day came for the foundation repair they did an excellent job without problems. We are very satisfied by the work and how fast it was completed! They dug 19 holes, installed 21 piers, and lifted the house 2. 5" in one day! Two of them was in the house and three were in the garage. The crew chief explained every step and kept me in the loop of any changes or questions. They took all steps to keep the debris from being in the air to a minimum. I covered my furniture and sealed off my entry ways to protect from the dust. It was very minimal after the holes were dug. They used CrossTimbers Engineering for the foundation inspection and Hole In One Plumbing for the plumbing inspection. They were very courteous, fast and answered any questions I had. Cons: Just an FYI the mudjacking is only available two times a month. So make sure you can make the schedule at least two weeks after the foundation repair. The repair and payment process was not explained fully in the beginning or I didn't hear or ask the right questions. So I spent most of my time lost on Structured Foundations process after the contract was signed. What I thought was being protected from dust in the house and was, were two different things. I moved and covered the furniture and sealed vents and my kitchen and ran out of time for the stairs. But, the crew chief worked with me on gettting the last entry way closed and put a 4ft barrier cover around the area plus vaccumed and wetted down the area to keep the dust to a minimum and we were successful. We feel very lucky we landed with Structured Foundation Repairs. They repaired our foundation in March 2017, I am writing this in Sept 2017. We knew 6 years ago we needed foundation repair, and it scared us to death. In 2011, we researched BBB for reputable companies and called 7 out (As it turns out, Structured was one of them) for estimates. Their plans went from one end of the spectrum to the other. After researching the subject, we still had no idea what the right answers were, and doubted we could afford it at that time anyway, so we gave the house 6 years to fix itself. Instead, the house added other fixes to the list that required the foundation be repaired first. Last year, we threw out the huge stack of estimates, afraid after 6 years they would just confuse us more, and decided to start fresh. In March 2017 we again researched BBB for companies and asked 3 to come out. Although I didn't realize I had called Structured Foundation Repair 6 years ago, they did. I discovered we were still in their records. They knew which employee had come 6 years before, and told us he would be the one coming this time. Rodney Caprio is his name and I can't say enough good things about him. Professional, Knowledgeable, Honest, Patient, Thorough. He showed up with the estimate and plans from 6 years ago, and showed us how it compared to today's picture. It was obvious he was shooting from the hip. We canceled the other 2 companies and scheduled our foundation repair with Rodney. Brilliant move. Everything was just as he said it would be, and more. The Crew and Forman we were assigned were Top Notch Professionals. They worked together like a well-oiled machine. It was obvious these guys knew what they were doing. Also, their work atmosphere was very happy! They installed 22 piers. Afterward, Our property was left very, very pristine. Honestly, better than they had found it. Rodney orchestrated an Engineer to come before and after the work, and a plumber to check for leaks after the work was completed. All happened in a very timely manner. We love the warranty not being contingent on gutters or soaker hoses, and that it is transferrable. The price was very reasonable, but it would have been less had we not waited 6 years. It's nice to know that their word is their bond! I had work done 7 years ago and they didn't hesitate to come out recently and do some adjustments for no charge because of their warranty.
