Me & my family did a maternity shoot with Steven & he was phenomenal, he was so kind and it made me feel comfortable and that I could have fun for my shoot.

Basically, there are five common elements that great images typically have; Good use of light, color, a captivating moment, correct composition for the given situation, and the photographer's choice of distance to their subject.

What do you love most about your job?
The ability to capture the world as you see it – sharing the things you care about and what excites you – this is what makes photography special to me. There's something powerful about being able to share an image online and have it remind somebody of a memory they have, or to inspire them to travel some day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The main inspiration for starting my own business is my entrepreneurial spirit. There are also successful people whom I admired in my lifetime.
Why should our clients choose you?
So why would you choose me over all the other photographers out there? I am a professional, trained, full time photographer Nationwide. I am fully insured and I pride myself on my capturing of light. Natural light is my passion. However, we do live in Virginia so I'm used to be faced with some of our weather conditions where I will use flash when required. To quote one of my clients, 'Steve has the technical ability to make a storm look like a lovely day!'. I have back up photography equipment (and back up of the back up!) and I also have a circle of colleagues who I trust to stand in for me if I am ill. Although being ill has only happened once in 15 years, it is always good to have a back up.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We all have been vaccinated and wear masks if needed.
