SPORT Fitness head coach, Adam Dicker, has been a personal trainer since 2009. He specializes in weight loss, athletic conditioning, strength training, bootcamp workouts and MMA/kickboxing.

Been going to Sport Fitness for a while now. Great community and love the boxing classes. Highly recommend and the new location is very clean and comfortable.

You've been there... Give me 500 jumping jacks - says your "personal trainer" while siting on an empty bench, head down because he is too busy posting to his instagram. Not at Sport Fitness. Adam and his team don't play around. He and his staff blend an insane program that sits somewhere between resistance training, yoga, self-defense and fighting (i.e. see yoga meets boot camp). Over the years, Adam and other trainers here have trained me in boxing, muay thai, Brazilian jiujitsu and MMA. You may not have heard of them, but you will! Great things coming from this gym. I dropped in to try their classes and got comped a bootcamp session to try out the gym. It was intense and clearly I was not ready (or in shape) for it, but Adam helped me get through and helped me adjust to what I could do. I've been training with Adam since 2016. I was looking for the best boxing trainer in the North side, and he came very highly recommended. I've trained with other personal trainers in the past, and no one comes close to Adam. The personal training sessions are never boring. He's so effective in challenging me and keeping me accountable. I was very happy to see him expand into offering group classes because it meant I could go to both group and one-on-one sessions. I was also happy to see that he's mixing in different types of exercises with boxing (like Bootcamp, weights and yoga!). His new gym on Clybourn is clean and tastefully designed. I've been training with Adam for over 4 years, and it's been a great experience. I needed an outlet for a physically and mentally stressful work-like, and weekly one-on-one sessions has become essential for my longevity as a massage therapist and yoga instructor. Adam customizes workouts to my ability and goals, and helps me push passed challenges. Plus he genuinely cares about my progress and what's going on in my life. I started seeing Adam about 7 years ago.  When I started with him I was pretty scrawny and hated going to the gym and working out. 7 years later, I am in the best shape of my life, am working out more than I ever have and even enjoy some of it :-).  Adam has the perfect temperament - he is supportive and makes sure the the workouts are tailored to the individual. The SPORT Fitness community of trainers and clients has become a mainstay in my exercise and social life. Through SPORT Fitness I have done small and medium group classes, individual training, some meal planning, virtual workouts, at home workouts and participated in obstacle races (something I never thought I would be able to do). Adam has also taught me some kickboxing - I was very bad at the beginning - if you see Adam ask him about the first time i did skip knees.... oy - but now I get it and get quite the workout in.I have worked with Adam at a number of gyms and now that he has his own spot, it's only going to get better. The equipment is top-notch, the gym is clean and there is never a problem with availability. Even though i live out in the suburbs now I will continue to head into the city to see and work out with Adam.  Whether you are out of shape looking to get in shape, or in shape and looking to improve beyond that Adam and the SPORT Fitness team is the way to go! I am very passionate about fitness. I love workout out myself and I enjoy helping others. It's very rewarding to see results-whether it's your own results or helping someone else.

I was tired of working for a big chain gym and giving away more than half of the training session cost to someone who didn't even know I existed. After building up my own business as an independent personal training, I open up my first Personal Training Studio. I have since moved locations, to a bigger and improved facility. I own my Personal Training Studio in Chicago and I also do in home training in the North Shore.

I have over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. I am a Personal Trainer, I've been a Fitness Director for a big chain gym, and I currently own my Fitness studio. I specialize in general fitness, weight loss, endurance training, and strength training. I have also competed in MMA, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Kickboxing.

I can provide services via Zoom, if requested. I can also travel to a client's home, use my personal garage gym, or do outdoor workouts during the summer.

We sanitize all of our equipment before, during, and after classes. All Staff are fully vaccinated.
