This organization is one to be commended for its heart to help animals that’s have been in poor life situations, some so cruel it’s hard to imagine. Nearly three years ago we adopted our black pittie from Sophie's Circle. Max (formerly known as Zeak) was rescued by Jen from a shelter in Orlando. I'm pretty sure Max would not have made it out of there without Sophie's Circle. A black pitbull with one blind eye is not the "cute" family pet everyone is looking for...but, the volunteers at Sophie's Circle have a knack for finding and saving the sweet souls that deserve a second chance. Max is one of those sweet souls, and we are forever grateful that Jen and Dana kept posting videos and photos of him. They never gave up trying to find him a home. And, they put the same energy into every single rescue. I highly recommend Sophie's Circle. Even if you don't live in Volusia County, still consider adopting from this rescue. Couldn't be more flattered to volunteer for such an organized rescue that actually care about the dogs. I ab beyond thrilled to officially be a foster for these amazing people. I showed them a baby in need, with no hesitation they said "we HAVE to get her here to safety!" Sure enough, she will be here safe and sound on Sunday! Can't wait to volunteer my time with whatever they need help with. They are a pleasure to talk to and can tell the care about there dogs and who is fostering. I'm so excited to be a part of this babies journey all because Sophie's circle is allowing me! I absolutely LOVE they make sure the fosters dogs are all up with vaccines so nothing happens to my dogs from the new foster- or vise versa. They're VERY organized and cannot wait to volunteer more!
