We had pizza here once before sabbath and loved it. Very good.  Another time the Songbird hosted a rehearsal dinner which was yummy and really fun hanging out with the owner and talking about this fascinating little town and his family history.  His brother makes some great wines and we bought a bottle of the whiskey barrel wine which was great.  Places like this are best if you take the time to chat up the help and spend some actual time there. My wife and I just tried the newly reopened Songbird in beautiful Beulah, CO.  They did it right.  We were pleasantly surprised.  The service was good but the food was excellent.  We had the Eggs Benedict and Chili scramble.  Both were wonderful.  And my wife says that is how you test to see if it is a good eating place if their E.B. is good.  It was!  Also I go gluten free and they have many options.  Even G.F. toast with my breakfast.Clay met us at the door who is the manager.  Nice guy.  Next time we want to try the pizza (they have a gluten free crust).  We definitely will come back.
