I used Philip's services after finding his awesome reviews on Yelp. They were right! Philip is awesome!!!!! A+++. He had to go above &amp; beyond to finish this job. I first had him wash my panels. He was timely, polite, respectful, and gave fair pricing. He even flew a video drone to prove pre/post cleaning. Great work. It was his videos that showed me that the idiot original solar installers (green power installers-DO NOT USE) mounted 3 of 15 panels on the north sloping section of my roof. historically, these panels were capturing 50% of the others. My energy consumption has been more than production since day 1, so I calculated that placing these 3 panels on south slope (if possible-roof is tight) would boost my power ~11%. Therefore, I asked solarklean to relocate them.<br><br>I care about the environmental impact of my energy use &amp; so decided it was worth the expense to relocate the panels.<br><br>Philip moved them ASAP. Then we realized the "power optimizers" failed to reconnect to the main inverter. This rendered the panels non-functional. We contacted <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FSolarEdge.com&amp;s=10eaf64506e2c99142a06c7e0bad41fe4a71817d19d6579c9dcf337ef383f48d" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">SolarEdge.com</a> tech support. They replaced them, no charge. Philip followed up twice to find a time to install them. He visited my house a couple times to do this work. He DID NOT LEAVE ME STRANDED!! Philip stuck to the job even after my solar " optimizers" failed. <br><br>I can confidently recommend solarklean to clean your panels &amp; do simple optimization's like I mentioned above. Philip and crew did a great job.  Our solar panels hadn't ever been professionally cleaned before and had a lot of build-up.  They cleaned the solar panels, several sky lights and even the top of our conservancy which is nearly impossible to access.  Philip also noted a couple of potential issues I should be mindful of and advised that they also do windows (our house has a lot of windows just 3 blocks off the ocean that readily get salt encrusted).  Will definitely use him again. I was disappointed with Solar-Klean. I made an appointment for window cleaning and let Phil know I had a deadline for the cleaning. He agreed, but then called me an hour before the appointment to cancel because he the scope of work for his prior client was "much bigger than he thought."  I asked if he could come later in the day and he said absolutely. When the time passed, I called him and he said he wouldn't be able to make it there wasn't anything he could do about it. He didn't have a recommendation for another resource. Phillip responded to my yelp request the same day, and after answering my MANY questions about how he would get compacted redwood needles out from under the panels without damaging them, he came out the following day. It was a difficult job because of how compacted the debris was, and there was barely enough room under the panels for his tools. When he left, all the debris was gone - he takes photos before and after to illustrate - and I saw this myself when I went up to wash my skylights. Very happy with the work these guys did cleaning my gutters.  I live on a hill and that some of my gutters are over 2 stories high I don't want to kill myself by doing this work.  <br><br>Phillip was very prompt and professional in getting the initial quote done, and equally so the day his team came out and did the work.  They were very thorough--much more so than the last person who cleaned my gutters.  They took the same amount of time than the last company (who was only a single person) and they came with a 3-person crew, who was busy the entire time.<br><br>I gave them 4 stars for now, and will increase this to 5 once we get our first rain and I can confirm that everything is working great.  Some of my downspouts were almost completely plugged so the difference should be pretty obivous. Phillip @ Solar-Klean definitely deserves a 5 star from me. I needed some mesh screen installed for my solar panels to keep the bird from nesting underneath it. Phillip gave me a quote promptly and delivered as promised. <br><br>He arrived on the day of the install "ON-TIME (not early / not late) which can be hard to come by these days if you know what I mean. I was extremely pleased with my experience with Phil and Solar-Klean! This was the first time I've had my panels cleaned in the 5 years we've had them, but given the fact it doesn't rain in CA any more and seeing our energy production starting to decline, I decided to get them professionally cleaned. <br><br>Phil was prompt and showed up with a sophisticated looking filtration system (carbon, deionizing, and RO) to ensure there aren't water spots. He was very thorough and left the panels sparkling.<br><br>I also really like the idea that he was previously a roofer (so he won't be doing damage to the roof as he walks around) as well as a solar installer too.<br><br>I will definitely be using him again in the future and will likely perform the panel cleaning annually.
