Recently purchased property in Alamosa and had to find a local gym while we are here getting things squared away. As regular gym rats, we are pretty selective about what gyms get our seal of approval. This gym has it hands down. The staff is on top of things, the facilities are exactly what we look for in a gym....plenty of benches, bars and plates, machines. No pretention and plenty of room. We love this place! More...

I love going there and taking my water aerobics class. I also work twice a week with a trainer, Richard, who understands those with Fibromyalgia and arthritis because he is exposed to it personally.
Prices for monthly membership is reasonable, and even more so for those over 65, and working with a trainer is also reasonable. The building is a little older, but the owners are constantly working to improve it. One thing they do quite well is they make the place feel comfy and homey and that their members are part of a family. I felt that right off the bat.
I especially like it because they have a pool, and no one else in Alamosa does. Even though it's difficult, I really enjoy my water aerobics class three times a week. We all manage to work out and yet have some fun too.

It has plenty of weights to get a workout in a steam room or sauna, hot tub, and pool it has a racket ball area and a basketball area also a boxing room they also have classes for almost anything you need.

The staff is very nice. We usually just swim, I haven't used a lot of the equipment yet but they have quite a bit. The place is always clean and I appreciate the day care. My kids and I always feel comfortable here. I think the price is pretty low, considering that it includes the classes they offer.
