Funny, I wrote a review on here one year ago after my project was done, he was so nice and so accommodating during the project once The final payment was made, and I had any issues I was told” it passed inspection” Or when my bathroom was flooding because they made a Rolland shower with no decline so the water just puddled all over my master bedroom. Not to mention they took out all the waterproofing, and the tiles were just placed on the cement in my master shower. I was told that’s just how Works. Here I am 15 months after my project was finished. Have burst in the wall, because of work that was not to industry standards. Once the demolition was done, because of these burst pipes, I was able to see how many corners they really do cut. This was a job we hired him for to do a renovation to a home for a double amputee Vietnam veteran, who happened to pass away during construction I feel that they hurried the job after and cut multiple corners. They had put safety rails in the shower and the restroom area never were any of those safety rails connected to a stud. They all came out and the email I received said they weren’t made for you, so why are you even using them. the safety rails in the shower were just drilled through the tile. Once something is installed in my house it is none of your business who uses it. Not to mention Freddie his foreman drilled right through my house when he cut a load bearing wall to put a shelf in for the shower , of course all of this was done after inspection so that they could be done. There was no reinforcement made of this 4 x 4 on the outside of my wall. There was no insulation put back in my wall and frankly the plumbing looked like a five-year-old did it. I have pictures I have proof, and I was told over and over “it passed inspection” . Yes, but if you changed after inspection, that means my air conditioner unit and my heater unit were put in they were too large for the ventilation of the house so they suffocated, not to mention they were wired again” it passed inspection. “ so please before you hire this company which this reveal probably get taken down also, do your due diligence meaning when you first meet him and he’s bragging about all these law cases that he has against him, but he has such a great lawyer, so they never affect him, that should be the first red flag. He’s a smooth talker Dans will tell you anything you want until he gets paid then he’ll stop talking to you. He was paid $100,000 and I just ended up paying $70,000 out of my own pocket to fix all the mistakes he made. not to mention the extra supplies that were ordered and taken home with him never leaving me a tile a floor plank took all the extra home. And I’m talking about at least 30 boxes of tile, I believe to him it didn’t matter because the VA paid for it. So some of them may have gotten a really good deal on tile you’re welcome More...

I very recently had a new roof put on an apartment building that I own. I gave the contract to Silver Stone Remodeling. I am extremely pleased with the service they provided, the job that they did, and the speed with which they accomplished putting on the new roof. Start of the project had to be delayed due to continued rain. However, the first day that the rain let up they did the demolition of the old roof. Building inspection was on the morning of the second day. The inspection passed and that afternoon the entire new roof was completed. Final inspection passed without incident. Silver Stone did everything they said they would and were very easy to work with. When I needed to contact the project manager, Yan, I was always able to get through to him right away, or if I had to leave a message he got back to me very quickly. Truly have never had such an awful experience with a contractor in my life. I had to have my roof replaced as a result of leaking from the record-breaking rain this year, and these folks told me they could do this project fast - exactly what i needed. Unfortunately, what was promised to me as a 3 day rip and replace ended up being 7 days of being lied and talked down to. One of the most frustrating days (the supposed "last" day of the promised 3), the project manager told me that the team was going to be there at 8am - they actually came at 4pm with a ladder that was too short to get onto my roof and a team of only 2 employees who couldn't have been aged more than 18. I let them use my ladder, they put a tarp weighted down by a few tiles on my roof and left. The wind and rain that night threw these tiles into my driveway, barely missing my neighbor's house. As the project went on and I paid them more of the total fee, they because less and less interested in finishing - I could barely get an answer from the project manager other than to tell me I was being too emotional (about not having a roof in a rainstorm). The city inspector came multiple times and left, saying "I don't know what i can tell you - they're just not done". The Silver Stone team incurred a penalty cost from summoning the city inspector to an unfinished project too many times. Finally, to put a cherry on top, it has been 2 months since they finished, and my roof is leaking again. However, since it's coming in through my chimney (which they covered with roofing material as part of the project) they refuse to cover it under the warranty. I'm done. More...

I hired this company to repair the interior of my bedroom after a roof leak destroyed the attic and ceiling. They refused to finish the job and paint the room even though "paint all damaged areas" was included in the scope of the proposal AND I had discussed paint color with the contractor during the bid and he said he'd "paint it any color I wanted". The contractor is trying to argue that painting the walls, baseboards and crown molding wasn't included in the proposal because it's not "damaged" and wants $450 more dollars (on top of $3,850) to paint. He also treated me like garbage and I told him that I felt he was taking advantage of me because I am woman, to which he yelled at me so I yelled back and then hung up on him. Then he responded, in writing, with "...this is very rude, what you did right now , hang the phone on me , I am your contractor not your boyfriend, very very rude". So I also called and spoke to the owner of the company, a woman, named Sandra. She came to my house to see the work, sided with her contractor and then told me I was "probably being emotional because I just had a baby." To which I said "I am not being emotional because I had a baby. I am being emotional because your employee disrespected me and you’re taking advantage of me and I don't know why you'd employee a person like that as a woman." Feel free to see photos of this conversation, the proposal, and the damaged walls, baseboards and crown molding that they won’t paint because they say it isn't damaged and decide for yourself if this is the quality work you'd accept before hiring this company. They also left trash behind in my yard, didn't haul away and remove all debris but put some of it in my trash bin, left my dog gate open so my dogs got out and left an open exacto knife on my child's play area. Great Job! Called to schedule gutter cleaning. Doron called me right back. Showed up at agreed upon time. He and his helper completed job and left no mess to clean up after. We used Silver Stone as our building contractor for a recent sunroof remodel. The remodel was extensive, replacing 3 new windows, knocking out a closet, adding a door, redoing some siding, all new drywall and a cedar lid for the ceiling. I had a general idea about the desk I wanted built; reclaimed wood, metal saw horse legs and a hidden shelf underneath to store hard drives and wires. Mike took my idea and helped me refine the exact specifications. He then got down to work and crafted a beautiful red elm desk that exceeded my expectations. Overall Mike was great to work with. Excellent service! A portion of our flat roof was leaking into our garage after a storm came through. I called Avi at silver stone home remodeling. He was able to send his team out within a week to repair the old tar and gravel with newer composite roof material. The result is that we have a durable roof with a twenty year warranty in place. Had a emergency leak at a property. Because of the upcoming rains needed someone to come out and at least take a look at where the leak could be coming from. Called at least 5 other roofers and they all said the same thing: "We aren't taking any new projects or new estimates until after Feb 1st". Wow. So took my chance calling silver stone. Mike says he has a crew that's finishing up a project nearby and they can be here in 2 hrs. Well they get here 45mins after talking to Mike and not only do they locate the leak....they give me an estimate and time frame to fix. Wasn't even a hard decision to make....gave them the green light and they actually finish 15mins ahead of schedule...my Maintenance Supervisor and I inspect the work and they guarantee that it will not leak or they will come back.
