They have a wonderful Sunday buffet. Fried chicken, roast beef, you name it. Plus salad bar, pasta bar and dessert bar. Or open menu.

Nice, relaxing atmosphere with excellent wait staff that work as a team to ensure the customers are attended to properly without being intrusive. Mark is an excellent waiter! The buffet spread was traditional fare and quite tasty, with an awesome omelette and waffle station as well as roast beef and country ham. It is well worth the short drive and the modest price. More...

Excellent place for Sunday brunch. A huge variety of selections, and an omelette & waffle station. The fried chicken is very good, as is the peel & eat shrimp. Plenty of space for big parties & always excellent service. More...

I love this place for lunch. Where else can one have eight soups from which to choose? I never grow tired of dining here. The variety and delicious flavor of the soups guarantee my return . I recommend signing up for daily emails so that you never miss your favorites. More...

I'm a sucker for a good soup and salad buffet, which is what this place has at lunchtime. Their homemade croutons are so bad for you. They're incredible. They deserve their own shrine within the shrine. More...

Went to dinner on Friday around 4pm and there was No one in the restaurant. Got seated right away. Had the fried chicken and soup and salad buffet. Everything was amazing. Food, service, atmosphere, was a perfect 10. Felt like a quiet dinner for two. Lol. After 10 minutes or so a few tables came in. We left happy and satisfied. When we left there were about 10 tables eating. I'd recommend it to anyone. I guess not a lot of people know that they serve dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Shout out to our server Mackenzie, she was a great. Very attentive. More...

The ONLY reason that the Shrine restaurant gets a 4 instead of a 5 star review is because I got zero cell reception on my Verizon phone. Everything else was awesome. It was like walking into a slice of history. The decor and music is straight out of the 60s and 70s and it's only (though very well maintained not old and dingy) opened until 9 on Fridays but the food was great! And with $2.50 margaritas this would be a great place to start before a night out. Not crowded, excellent service, and if you can, sit in Jeff's section. He totally took care of us. More...

This place was overwhelming in a good way. There was enough breakfast and lunch items so if you didn't want to brunch you could. There was a salad bar, the traditional breakfast, pastries, dessert and a carving and omelette station. It's $15 bucks per person so a little pricey. Nothing especially wowed me. I did like the bread pudding. But there was enough to satisfy you. More...

The quality of the food and the service here is very good. I am a vegetarian and I was able to find some non-meat options. My husband enjoyed the fried chicken and the clam chowder soup. The food is very heavy in my opinion, however. It is just not my kind of food at all. I should have realized this before I went. I do not generally do buffets.I am giving 4 stars because the service is so good and if you enjoy heavier home coooking" kind of food, you'll love it here. The prices are also reasonable. If I go again I would have the soup and salad. More...
