What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Knowing what your client story is on why they are requesting a photoshoot and seeing what their vision is for it! Inspiration pictures are everything!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
If its a maternity shoot I might ask questions about if the pregnancy was a surprise or planned, whats the reason behind the baby name, if its their first baby or not, etc. If it is an engagement shoot I'll ask how they met, how long they've dated, how was the engagement planned and of course wedding details, etc. I believe just getting to know your client and asking questions to better understand where they are coming from while help me as a photographer bring your vision to life and give you the best photos I can possibly give to you!
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting different people and hearing where they have been and just finding out more about who they are as an individual. I also really love being able to take photos of the different stages people are in, in life. Life is so beautiful no matter what stage in life you are in.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was really inspired by mom, she was our family photographer when ever we would have family parties. Growing up I watched her capture some of the bet moments of my grandparents laughing or my cousins being born, each moment was so special and it really inspired me to learn the art of photography and give to those what my mom has given to my family for years.
