Adriana and her team are amazing! When I moved to the shoreline and it was time for a vacation, a friend of mine recommended Shoreline Happy Paws. Adriana came to meet the cats and walked around the house to see where everything was. Everyday on vacation we received pictures of the kitties, a checklist of what was done, and a nice summary of how they were acting. The fact that we take part of enriching pets lives and helping their families.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always loved animals and I wanted to make it the way I live my life every day.
Why should our clients choose you?
1. We are professional and we love what we do. We are not the kid down the street.
We are trained and we know the responsibility, liability, and risk that taking care of people's homes and pets comes with. We could write a book about our adventures with that in our 12 years of business, haha. That is why every step in our onboarding, staff training, and day-to-day operations emphasizes safety.
2. We are insured and bonded. We have a liability policy for damages to property and pets and our staff is insured under workmen's compensation in case of any injuries at the job. Our clients do not have to worry about their own homeowner's insurance being on the hook because someone slipped on ice while walking their dog down the steps.
3. We work as a team. This gives our customers more availability for services on the calendar and flexibility on their needs, as well as and most importantly backup care for emergencies (sickness, car problems, etc)
We are aware that a team-based pet care service is not ideal for every household and that is okay. Our team model has proven successful for our clients. Every team member goes through a 12-step hiring process, is background checked, and undergoes training before their first assignment alone. After all, we are sending our employees to clients' homes, we need to make sure we only hire incredibly honest and reliable individuals. What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We want to protect those in our community (employees and clients alike) who have relatives at home who are immunocompromised, so yes, COVID is "over" for most of the world but our staff is still encouraged to wear masks and sanitize hands when indoors. 100% of our team is vaccinated and boosted.
Dog Walking
Whether you need a routine and sporadic needs
for your high-energy Aussie to get a good walk or your couch potato Bulldog to just get out to potty.
All of our walks are customized to your needs and you can choose how long you need them to be. We have 15, 30, 45 and 60 min appointments available.
We work with all schedules – whether you need us sporadically or Mon-Fri every week.

Dog Hiking Adventures
Our most popular service! Make your dog’s day! A great alternative to daycare.
We pick you up and drop you off. Join us for nice adventures on the trails or beach where your dog can explore all kinds of smells and sounds, get plenty of exercise and potty opportunities, lots of playtime with hiking friends, and enrich their daily life!
Group Hikes and Private Hikes available. All dogs are leashed. Off-leash option available at request of client and after successful off-leash training.
Attendance twice a week is required to be paired to a group.
Pet Sitting - Vacation Visits
Enjoy that holiday knowing your fur babies are in good hands! Available 7 days/week. 365 days/year – even holidays! Schedule daily as needed while you are away. Includes all basic care like walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, cuddles and attention, litter scooping, and medications.
Concierge services such as, bringing in mail/newspapers, alternating lights/curtains, and watering indoor plants are included. Daily updates/videos are provided for your peace of mind.
Please note that we have limited availability for early morning and bedtime visits.
Pet Sitting - Overnight Stays
Some pets are used to sleeping in bed with their human – or at least with a human in the house. We get it! We stay over and cater to your routine as much as possible with walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, TLC, litter scooping & providing medication. This is a great fit for households with multiple pets.
Concierge services such as, bringing in mail/newspapers, alternating lights/curtains, and watering plants are included.
We ask that you are transparent about your expectations and your pets’ needs. Please consider how often your pets need to go out to potty, walk/exercise, meal times, and how much company you would like them to have throughout the day and evening hours, etc.
This is an exclusive service in high demand. Ranging from $150-350+ a day.
Your rates will entirely depend on how much time you require us to spend at your home at night and the daytime services booked.
