Was looking for a place to grab a bite while staying at the Battle House and stopped in on this gem. Wow were we impressed. The menu is a unique mix with twists on several items. Staff was courteous, helpful, and made sure things were just right. We were looking for something on the lighter side so we started with Crab Wontons which we found were made by hand by the owner’s mother. Simple but amazing flavors. My wife has the lettuce wraps which were extremely flavorful and I had the seafood nachos (just to try something different). Really really glad we decided to stop in. This was our first visit here and we loved it! The atmosphere is so nice. We liked that it wasn't very big. The service was great! Everything we ordered we enjoyed. Small place with big flavors.Von's, similar to many restaurants in the vicinity, is in an old converted building and is fairly small. They keep a fairly small menu, but everything is very good. They specialize in Asian flavors, but offer more than that: The Cajun pasta is especially good. They are quite popular for lunch takeout on weekdays and brunch on the weekend. I really love this restaurant. The Banh mi pork belly tacos and the Pho soup are two of the dishes that I seriously crave. I wish I had them now! The flavors are great.
