Sam and his team did a wonderful job for our house, a 1983 hillside modern in need of freshening up. Specifically, they: replaced all floors with engineered hardwood; gut-renovated a bathroom; converted a laundry room to a home office; renovated a den and helped us discover a beautiful brick fireplace hiding beneath dated tile; artfully fabricated extensions to existing balcony railing to bring it to code; closed off an open plan second living room to make it a proper extra bedroom; remodeled a dated staircase with pony wall; streamlined and refined the drywall defining transitions between different parts of the house; installed ceiling lighting throughout. While the cost of Sam’s labor added maybe 3% to the cost of house, the results no doubt have paid for themselves many times over.
