New York, NY, New York
I got my start as a portrait and headshot photographer for actors in NYC. That has since branched out and my work now includes lifestyle, fashion, product, commercial, travel, and food/drink photography. I live in New York and often travel to Los Angeles. If you'd like to discuss an upcoming project, let me know!

I’ll start by saying I absolutely hate to have my photo taken. I get so uncomfortable. Sergio told me exactly what I needed to hear to loosen up, and I never felt embarrassed about the fact that I’m awkward in front of the camera. He caught some of the most amazing photos just by have a conversation with me and I am SO happy with the way the turned out. On top of it, his retouch work is incredible and natural. I can’t wait to use these photos. More...

Sergio is a professional in every definition of the word. His experience as an actor and singer makes him relatable and easy to pose for and results in marvelous natural headshots. His keen attention to color and detail means you won’t have the dreaded “that’s not me” feeling when you see his prints either. I really felt like he brought out my best side! More...

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Two things: light and understanding your subject. When I'm photographing people I analyze personality, facial structure, skin tones, hair color, and eye color to determine what the ideal lighting setup will be. I then develop a rapport and get to know what type of person I'm photographing which will then inform how I connect with my subject. When I'm photographing scenery, products, food, or drinks, I use light to accentuate the colors and unique features of my subject.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
