.. Most importantly, the one that will tell you to stop and look at the camera in the middle of a perfect moment (yes, the moment that you don't know is perfect and don't really feel like smiling)... Meet Sergio!
I barely knew Sergio 1 yr ago. He photographed my sister's wedding in San Miguel and 8 months later, I knew that he'd be the one taking the pictures at my own wedding. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Be yourself in front of the camera. Enjoy the experience of a photographic session. It is the natural moments that give the best shots.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What do you expect for the photo session? Do you have something specific in mind? Is there something specific you want me/ you want me not to focus on? What is the essence of this session?
What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy working with people. I love learning about them and their backgrounds. I almost always make good friends in my sessions. I also appreciate the opportunity to give my clients a memory that will last for many years. The pictures transcend time. They stay and bring good memories back to life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was interested in offering something else, something that was not present in the market. I wanted to picture the essence of the people in my photography. That is not very common in commercial photography and I wanted to give people the opportunity to feel special, to be able to communicate their feelings in a photography.
Why should our clients choose you?
If people want something different, something unique, then I am positive that we can do something magnificent together. My photography offers the people to concentrate in who they are and I will do the rest. I make sure that every client feels unique and gets a memorable result. The photography I am passionate about focuses on the experience, on the feelings.
